FINALLY finished! I was getting a little concerned, but yesterday I finished Whispers in the Wall using a Spyglass and Curse of the Pharoah. Since then I was flying TP's nonstop to Giza with Spyglass. Only needed 2 drops for Ancient Ritual, but considering I'd 3-starred 3 destinations without finishing it, I was getting a bit pessimistic.

Other than trying to amass more stars, is there any benefit to not completing it now?

Stars are pretty much the only reason to keep playing but gi made that out of reach of almost everyone while needing a supercomputer to have an acceptable level of game play so why bother at all? I've certainly stopped caring anymore and suggest others do as well because we are nothing but cash cows as far as I can see. I'm sure the paid shills will set me right...

Some say that if you complete it, you can no longer gift the event items. Don't know it for a fact but it's what I've read.

That is correct you will lose event gifts once completing an event. It is not an issue in this particular event
but events where you can collect items from neighbors buildings are still collectible after a neighbor completes
said event, assuming they still have the buildings that drop the event items. Many get this wrong but it is only
dependent on whether you are still active in the event not your neighbor.

I hope they give us a nice long breather now.

I wouldn't mind that. I just started playing in August, but I am HOOKED. I just need a couple of weeks to reup on my fuel in storage first.

I also JUST did the math on the Casino/Bank/Mint from years past and see how you guys racked up a on greenies. I would kill for them to do that again!

That collection was tough, yes. I was worried will be possible to get them, since my amount of Poss.Pax was on max all the time.
Then i decided to sold 6 Falcons, and bought additional 6 Turboprops.... So with 8 TPs I was able to reduce Poss.Pax and collecting PPax every hour and 20 min. I had Spy Glass almost all the time enabled, plus Business Class, Sky Captain, Secret Faucet and Vintage Weathervane. Somehow I managed 5+ of each collection
