In the long run it will save you time and money, by...
The special event information contained in this user guide covers the period January to December 2023. From January 2024 the user guide will be updated, each time an event becomes available to players. It is my intension to expand the user guide with far more detailed special event information as it becomes available. The process of updating the user guide will be a long term project, across many years. By the end of the project the user guide will be fully comprehensive, it will allow you to look across the entire spectrum of events throughout the year, useful to know which events will become available, the game level required, what each event will involve, what your chances of completing the events will be, when the events will...

I have written this user guide to give you valuable insight into the Discount Super Sales, It will provide you with the opportunity to purchase items at a discount amount, but great care should be exercised, when deciding to make a purchase during discount sale periods. It will be important to know that many of the sale items which will appear in the discount super sales, can also be obtained by other means, given time and patience, during long term game play e.g. through the completion of Flight Collections (no payment will be required), through the Special Events (basic class pass ticket will be free and the premium class pass ticket will need to be purchased), through the Mystery Bonus Chests (payment will be required, also through...

There are currently 80 levels to the game of Airport City, each of which will provide you with a unique set of resource items, which can be used to help develop your long term game. It is all too easy to reach your city population, city electricity and terminal passenger capacity during long term game play, as you grow and develop your game. Very easy to overlook the counters, on your game screen, and not realise you are running close to the limits, until you reach them. It is always best to keep a close eye on these counters, and all the other types of counters on your game screen, and increase capacities before you reach each of their limits. It is always best to look beyond your current game level and plan well ahead, so you know what you will need in terms of capacity, for the next few game levels to come. A great deal of time can be saved in this way, this can also be applied to other areas of your game...
This user guide lists the full spectrum of flight destinations currently available, across the entire fleet of airplanes, the entire fleet of helicopters and the entire fleet of space vehicles. The type of flight destinations will range from Alliance Map Flights, Alliance Flights, Event Flights, Excavation Flights, Helicopter Flights, Space Flights, Space Map Flights, Standard Flights and the types of airplanes, helicopters and space vehicles needed to fly to the destinations. It is also worth noting that many of the...
There are up to 26 special events which will become available to players during the course of the game year. One of the two special events for you to look out for, is the The Winter Dream, the other special event is the The Celestial Festival, which will become available in September. The Winter Dream special event will become available to players in December, and will remain active for 16 consecutive days, during which time players will be able to collect free Green Notes by clicking on vehicles in their games. Please note - players will need to be on Game Level 7 for the special event to become available. On Friday 1st December 2023 the Christmas Journey special event became available to players, when a unique icon appeared on the left hand side of the game screen. I have created this user guide to provide information to those of you who have yet to begin flying alliance map flight destinations. It is intended to give you an insight, as to the different types of alliance maps, also known as purple maps, available and the different types of planes and flight resources needed to fly to the destinations. It will be an enormous advantage to you, if you know the different types of planes and flight resources needed, for alliance map flights. It is especially important, during the early stages of your game, when you will be flying to complete flight destinations and planning on upgrading your planes. In time you will come to realise that the planes you upgraded from, early on in your game, will be...
In October 2019, a number of menu icons were integrated into the Spiral Notebook menu, following the v7.4.8 update to the game of Airport City. Before the update took place, the menu icons were separate entities, each occupying their own place, on the game screen. The decision was made to bring the menu icons together, and locate them in the spiral notebook. This was a logical decision to make, since they all performed similar functions, and related to each other. The user guide is intended for those of you who are new to the game of Airport City, have recently signed up to the members forum and have been playing your game for a brief period a time. The user guide will provide you with insight, help to familirise you with the Spiral...
I have created this user guide to give assistance to those of you who are new to the game of Airport City, have recently signed up to the members forum, and are designing your signature page for the first time. The user guide exists in two parts, the first section deals with How To Design Your Members Forum Signature Page, and the second section deals with How To Post To The Members Forum. I can not emphasis enough how extremely important your signature page is to your game, it is in your interest to set one up, as soon as you join the members forum. Without a signature page your neighbours will not know what your gift needs are, with regards to upgrading the main buildings in your game e.g. Repair Base (levels 1-7), Control Tower...

The Mystery Chests will be in addition to the Mystery Building Chests and Mystery Super Building Chests. The game level you are on will also come into play, with regards to a number of chests, Level...
Once every two weeks the land expansion discount sale window will open and remain open for a few days. Sometimes the sale will open on a Friday afternoon and remain open until late Sunday night. Sometimes the sale will open on a Thursday afternoon and remain open until Sunday evening. When the sale window opens will of course be dependent on where forum members are located in the world, and the countries time zones, as to when the land expansion sale opens and the time of day. LAND EXPANSION SALES When the land expansion sales open a round icon will appear on the right hand side of the game screen, the icon will have a dark blue building with three floors located at the centre, with four bright orange arrows protruding outwards, from...
This user guide is divided into four sections, the first deals with helicopters purchased from the game store, the second deals with helicopters purchased during the discount super sales, the third deals with helicopters obtained through the special events, the fourth section deal with flight and repair items. The first option will always be available through your game, the second option will only become available during discount super sales, the third option you will need to obtain a special red helicopter from the mysterious airplane bonus, and the fourth deals with helicopter flight items and helicopter repairs items. There are three helicopter class types for sale, Standard Class, S1 Class and S2 Class. The standard class...
I have written this user guide to provide you with an insight into the process of obtaining these types of unique buildings. How useful you will find this user guide, will depend on how far along you are with your game, and what your long terms objectives are with your game. These buildings can be obtained through a number of purchase methods, during The Discount Super Sales, through The Bank, for free through The Daily Bonus, through The Game Store (this will be at full price), through The Airship Store (this will be at a discount) and through The Special Events. There are many ways in which to collect them, during long term game play, through the flight collections, through the daily missions, through the weather station flights, through special events, through the completion of second and third stage alliance group map flights, through the purchase of mystery bonus and mystery super bonus, through the completion of flight collections, through guest planes landing at your airport, through the special game codes and midweek bonus chest, through the airship store, through discount bank sales and through discount super sales. THE THREE BONUS GROUPS The bonuses fall into three main groups, those that are...
If you have been playing your game for a considerable period of time, perhaps a good few years, you may find that your game site has become somewhat untidy. If this is the case, it is most likely that you have not managed to maintain tight control over your game, and the long term placement of buildings. It is also possible that you may not have considered this aspect of your game too deeply, or not considered it at all, when you first set up your game and started to play. If you are in this position, it will be quite understandable, since it is all too easy to overlook this, when you have a great deal to think about, during the early stages of game play. You will not be alone with regards to this, many players will have experienced...
If you have a surplus of buildings stored in your warehouse, beyond the maximum number of six permitted in your game, you may have decided to sell some or all of them. The surplus of buildings, up to a maximum of 100 for each building, will have come about through many months of patient game play, in some cases across a number of years, and would have been obtained through a number of outlets, from within your game. Before you make the decision to sell you will want to know how much you will earn, from the sale of each building. The user guide will provide you with the information. Unfortunately, it will not be possible to sell any of your buildings, direct from your warehouse, this option will not be available to you. You will first...
It will be important to understand that the Alliance Group Badges do not offer any benefits to your game, they just allow you to personalize your alliance group. If you decide to make a purchase, a small amount of silver tokens would be best spent, rather than gold tokens, since silver tokens are far easier to collect,, whereas gold tokens are far more difficult to collect and take much more time to do so. The gold tokens can be better spent elsewhere in your game, during long term game play, the purchase and/or upgrade of select buildings and the purchase of high speed liveries for your fleet of aircrafts are just two examples. The Alliance Group Badges can be purchased with Silver Tokens (there are 25 badges to chose from) and Gold...
There are 26 special events which will become available to players during the course of the game year. One of the two special events for you to look out for, is the Celestial Festival, the other special event is the Winter Dream, which will become available in December. The Celestial Festival special event will become available to players in September, and will remain active for 11 consecutive days, during which time players will be able to collect free Green Notes by clicking on vehicles in their games. Please note - players will need to be on Game Level 7 for the special events to become available. CELESTIAL FESTIVAL SPECIAL EVENT When the special event becomes available, a unique icon will appear on the game screen, located on the...
The subject of hi-jacking a launch has been dealt with, across a number of sections within the following user guide, The Airport City Space Program - How To Undertake Apogee, Prometheus And Lunar Space Mission Launch Flights. Because this is such an important subject, which effects so many players new to the space program, it does deserve a dedicated user guide of its own, to address this very real problem. Dealing with hi-jackers will be an ongoing problem for forum members, who are new to the space program, and have very little flying experience. This will have been a problem most forum members will have experienced, at one time or another, during the early stages of game play. It is also worth mentioning, that this will have...
This user guide has been written for those of you who are in the early stages of game play development, and are planning on entering The Space Program. This user guide will take you through the process, tell you what you will need to know and what you will...
The airship will appear twice a week on Monday's and Thursday's (differing time zones will have a baring), and will remain on your game screen for a period of time. As to how long the airship will remain docked will vary, sometimes it will be for a few hours, sometimes for 12 hours, and sometimes for almost a day. It will not be the same for all players, you will need to keep this in mind. To access the Airship Store and the sale items you will need to select the Light Brown Canvas Airship icon, which will be located on the left hand side of your game screen. Once selected, the menu will appear on your screen, there will be five themed icons located vertically on the left side of the menu, 1st Adventure (Excavation Maps, Excavation...

It will display four options, 1st Alliance (it will display alliance group profile information and members of the group), 2nd Ratings (will display the world map, alliance and space program top 100 tables), 3rd Gifts (it will display items you can gift to your neighbours), 4th Neighbours (it will display a list of all your neighbours and your profile). As the game of Airport City currently stands, the maximum number of planes, you can have in your game, is fourteen. As the levels increase so will the purchase price, the number of items needed to upgrade each building and the construction period, before the...
WEEKEND GAME CODES (NO LONGER BEING ISSUED) Once a week on a Friday, a weekend game code will be issued, and posted on the members forum. The themed thread will be located in the Airport City Announcements section of the website. This will normally take place sometime after 4pm, the weekend code will normally be published at 4pm, on the Game Insight Facebook page. You will have until late Sunday evening in which to key in the code and collect the 3 Green Notes and 2,000 Gold Coins. Sometimes the weekend game code may still work after the weekend period has come to and end. If, for example, you have forgotten to key in the code and collect the green notes and coins, it may still be possible to collect the rewards on a Monday morning...

This user guide will take you through the process, tell you what you need to know, and help you to decide which of the two options is best for you. It is my intention this user guide to be comprehensive, so it will provide you with all the information you need, with regards to the ratings league table, the reward chests, ratings league table...
I have written this user guide to provide you with a brief overview as to the different types of Airport City maps available, which you will be available to collect, during long term game play. This user guide is divided into four main sections, the first section deals with Alliance Maps, the second section deals with Space Maps, the third section deals with Adventure Maps and the fourth section deals with Excavation Maps. Alliance Maps Space Maps Adventure Maps Excavation Maps If you are relatively new to the game you will not be able to collect these types of maps at first, simply because your game will not be set up to do so. It will not be until you have a well established game, on the city side and airport side, that...

The user guide is for those of you who have been playing your game for a period of time, and have yet to explore the airship store and all that it has to offer. The user guide will allow you to look ahead, at one aspect of your game, if you decide that this is for you. As to when will be the right time to start flying excavation and adventure maps, this is not such a straight forward question to answer, it will depend very much on the player. I have written this user guide for those of you who are new to the game of Airport City, new to the members forum and have not been playing your game for long. The user guide will help you to download the game updates, which will be issued throughout the year, from the Microsoft Apps Store for Windows. The updates will be extremely important to your game, it will be important to keep your game up-to date with the latest version. They will be released for a number of reasons e.g. when special events become available (there are currently 25 special events in a year), when enhancements are made to the game and when improvements are made to the game with bug fixes. Each new game update will have its own unique version number, the current...
I can not emphasis enough how extremely important it is that you take screenshots of your game, whenever you make any changes to your game, no matter how small, the changes maybe. It will be important after you have purchased land, after you have purchased buildings, after you have relocated buildings etc. You will need screenshots to prove you have completed a special event, so as to obtain the reward medal, and when you have reached a star skills set level, so as to obtain the reward banner. Screenshots of your game will be needed for many things besides. You will also need to do this in case you need to contact Technical Support for help with a problem, or when you post in the members forum with a problem. In most cases the members...
I have written the user guide to give you a brief overview of the different types of destination flight maps available, and an insight into how to collect them, during long term game play. The user guide is intended for those of you who have been playing your game for a period of time, and have reached a good level of game play, and are planning on undertaking map flights. I have written this user guide to provide you with a good understanding of how to obtain Gold Tokens and Silver Tokens, during long term game play, where you can spend them, and what you can spend them on. The user guide is for those of you who have been playing your game for a considerable period of time, and have a well established game. You will need to have a fully functioning space program, able to undertake Green, Blue, Red launch flights and able to fly adventure maps. Without these two capabilities, your options to obtain gold tokens and silver tokens will be greatly limited. The user guide is not intended for those of you who are new to the game, and have only been playing for a brief period of time. It will however, still be...

It is intended to help you to look ahead, as to the flight destinations available, the different types of planes required, the number of passengers needed, the amount of fuel needed, the destination flight times and aircraft repair items needed to repair your fleet of planes. It is important to note that the game level you are on and the number of star skills you have, will determine the number of flight destinations open to you. As you progress through your game levels and increase your star skills, new destinations will open up to you. It is also important to note that certain types...
It is extremely important that you back up your Airport City Game Folder on a regular basis, at least once a day. You should do this when you have finished playing with your game. Undertaking this important task will create two identical copies of your game folder, one on your playing device hard disc e.g. your computer or laptop, and the other on a separate storage medium. It will be important you continue to perform this important function everyday, otherwise you will have two game folders, but they will not be identical. If you then experience any problems with your game, and you restore from the old game folder copy, which maybe many days old, you will lose items from within your game. These items could be buildings, large amounts...
