Level 21, 58k drumsticks but only 7 tasks, 36 jackets and didn’t see the need to fly to Bali and turkey if I couldn’t get the jackets.

Task: Everything done and completed save for jackets. 15 minutes to event ending I was still in need of 78 jackets
Progress: I went as far as level 17


And then a miracle happened... I slept peacefully and my game is not broken for not paying-to-fininsh!!!!

By flying lvl 19, missing 4000 drumsticks. 9 tasks only had 26 jkts.
Gave into temptation and bought premium and 1 level for the platinum chest. Just too close to ignore it. .

Lv.17 and 7 tasks. Too lazy to fly 100 times to Turkish Coast and Bali each. And Jackets 18/100. Why bother?

Gave up 3 days before close at 17/20 and 8/10 with no chance! Not worth the effort and definitely not paying. New event looks far better, I have everything crossed LOL!

I made the decision early (before the jacket drop rate was clearly a problem) that I wasn’t partaking, as almost all destinations had been 3 starred already and I didn’t want to waste neighbour visits. However, I made a conscious effort to collect from the right buildings for drumsticks to see what I could get in the ranking.
I managed 17/20 level progress mainly from collection passengers, and a total of around 10-20 Tbird flights.
6/10 tasks.
Ended 10th in the rank which I’m pleased with considering.
No fuel/bonuses used to boost that either.

9/10 on the tasks
42 Jackets (including 20 via the progress with the premium pass)
I got second place in the competition.

Same here, 9/10, level 20. Only got 14 leather jackets from 6 camp field and 6 rock venues over 6 days. Terrible event
