It was easier last year and I was a young player : it was the first event I completed.

Did you use SpyGlass/Bowl of Riches? The flight drop is actually the easiest out of the 3 goals to finish the event.

I tried SpyGlass once and I didn't see a difference. Don't have any Bowl...

You have 11,000 candy canes. You can use 1500 to buy Bowl of Riches. Or just use SpyGlass if you want. They are the same, only differ in duration.

Maybe try again and don’t activate any other bonus that are similar in effect (like golden dice/dice/etc). Just SpyGlass/Bowl of Riches.

Me 1 polar bear missing for 3 days! Ridiculously low rate, quite agree.

I'm more leaning towards the Gingerbread house. Apparently no electrical use.

I'm a bit curious about something. Many are having troubles getting the snowglobes, as opposed to the other collections.
But I tend to see many neighbors take their snow removal buildings and place them in an area well away from any other buildings, coin boosters or passenger boosters.
lol perhaps there is a method to this strategic move

I'm more leaning towards the Gingerbread house. Apparently no electrical use.

I'm going for 4 Gingerbread Houses. I don't open my games every hour, so candy mansion passengers would be wasted. Only 1200 more candy canes and I'll have #4.

Does the Shaman Drum fix this weather issue? Asking as I will have one tomorrow and don't want to waste it, if it will not fix the problem.

This isn’t a weather issue. This is event flights now cost 2x the fuel to send.
Shaman drum will remove any bad weather on a flight so if you don’t have a weather item, use it.

Even though I had some items left from last time, I managed only 3x times the colection "Into the White".
Like eveybody I burned loads of fuel for nothing.
On top of that, with 3 snowmelting facitilies, I completed 4 times the collection "Let it snow".
Only collecting the items from the snow drifts went fairly well.
Furthermore, I flew in total 1055 times to Ouagadougou and received only 9 Museum, tickets.
I could carry on that list with endless samples.

Is that the motivation for the people to play this game?
I do feel more frustrated than motivated!

I have been playing for years and still there are times I grumble too.

I tend to put event buildings in one spot so that it is easier for visitors fo find. My city is a bit chaotic. Having said that, I needed two polar bear globes to finish that collection when the event started and it took 12 days to get them with 6 Snow Melting Facilities.

The event is over in about 20 minutes. Remember to spend any left over candy canes, or you will lose them. Repair Sets & Flight items are good options if you only have a few hundred left.

I completed them but without using either. The drop rate was atrocious but what I did was to maximize time time playing the game..
