One of the most under-rated building in Airport City is Car Dealership.
It generates 36 coins per 20 min = 108 coins per hour.
Costs only 350 coins (and no collection needed).

You get back the coins you invested within 3 hours of solid clicking.

Yes, you are quite right. However, the previous design of the Car Dealership was far more pleasing to the eye, with its large curved bulbous front design, it looked very futuristic. The present design it not so smart.

Yes! I have 5 of them and collect hourly. People think that coin buildings are a waste of time because youre able to collect a lot of coins from launches, however, if you have the right buildings, those little contributions add up. Right now, I get over 10,000 coins a day from collecting. Thats equivalent to doing a blue launch everyday.

I am going to say the alliance office and the alliance buildings. Those seem to be the more expensive useless mistakes to make.

The Alliance Office is relatively inexpensive at 10,000 coins - currently there are no items worth buying, but it is early days. There is room for a further six click buttons, so I'm expecting better things to come.

Bali, I agree about the car dealership. I was surprised when I first started reading about the game on some strategy posts and way to generate the most coins quickly, that it wasn't even mentioned. Car Dealership is a serious coin producer. Yes, it has to be watched, but even if it's only click twice per hour is still produces more then the hour buildings like the bowling alley. Any way glad you posted this for the newest of users.
For new users the Car Dealerships and bowling alleys are the quickest coins. 6 of each will produce some coins to do lots of construction.

Bowling Alleys are another gem. I have those, farmers markets, perfume stores, donut shops and a couple circuses (both greenies but worth it). I think anything above 40 coins/hr is a win in regards to coin collecting. I'm going to show people that coin buildings are a worthy investment when I'm done. Red Launches will be just another source of income.

Selecting the right buildings for your own playing style (daily / hourly player) is important so that you can earn coins faster to make good progress.

Avoiding the pitfalls is also important so that you don't waste your coins on "useless" buildings (like Duty Free, Baggage Hall, Town Hall updates). Use your coins to build MCC1,2,3 and Red Launch Pad instead.

Doing multiple Red QL launches with neighbours will put your game progress on steroids, so do not underestimate it.

I agree. I had 6 Bowling Alleys before the event started, but had to put one in inventory to build the post offices. Planning on having 6 Bowling Alleys, 6 Post Offices, 6 Hotels (all built with 5 in inventory), and 6 car dealerships in the near future. Plus one sound store.

Other buildings that fit that category that are not from events - Flea Market, Art Supply Store, Space Needle,

Other buildings to look at - Golden High Rise (20m 69 coins), Investment Bank (10m 20 coins), Roller Coaster Park (5m 15 coins), Internet Cafe (30m 65), Academy of Sciences (25m 58 coins), Garden of Meditation (30m 72 coins),

All those buildings listed in the last two paragraphs are from collections from flights (except Space Needle which comes from blue launch flights, all five put together) which most of them are the highest 30 levels. Art Supply Store comes from Paris and Investment Bank comes from Hong Kong. Also I know Golden High Rise comes from Anchorage on the Falcon. I'll have to check all of those again some seem too good to be true.

I do like baggage halls for faster turn around on guest flights, especially for higher level planes. I think I stop leveling up around 50% though.

Grrr....you're discussing all my plans in public lol :ROFLMAO:...but yes Im going after golden high rise and garden of meditation. I may look into a couple more based on the info you provided, but my plan will have a twist. By the way, forget the space needle...not worth it. Abandoned spaceport is much better even though its bigger, and its a lot easier to get

Hello @Bali Hi, are you suggesting that I should just keep doing launches for tokens to build a Grand Hotel? instead of upgrading my Town Hall? I've been stuck at max population for awhile now, since I spent all my coins on MCC3 and Red Launch Pad. and I'm currently 320K coins away from the Town Hall 7. and since I just started the space program, its gonna take a lot of launches for me though LOL

Oh I agree that red QL launches is the fastest way to earn money quickly, but you can't launch all the time. I want to be making money each day, not just at moments when I can do a QL party. QL's take effort to earn, and they are true gems (I plan on having a nice stash of them at all times), but reserving space for the best coin collectors isn't a bad idea either...especially if it fits your playing style. I used to want one of every building like Madlen, but I wasn't making any money, so I ditched all buildings with a low per hour contribution and only placed ones with the best, and decided to check my acct on an hourly basis to get a nice ~1500 coin payout each time. Do that 8 times a day, and you get 12k coins a day. Those contributions add up in between doing those QL launches. Thats why I say that its good to do both.

duty free, can you even sell that building, what a waste of space it is

It was not a useless building in the early stages of the game. Now it is less useful but GI deemed an essential building.

No you can not sell, it maybe possible to store but is not worth The money.

If you do not use it, just place it in the corner of your airport and forget about it.
