what @Madge59230 meant is you only can trade (send) items from your Gift list. To know what you are ALLOWED to send from your Gift list, click on the Gift Box button, then click the outgoing arrow icon, there you will see all the items you can send to people. If you're about to upgrade to Terminal Level 4, you also will see ONE upgrade item of L4 you can send out. That's the thing you will normally trade with other players.
