the GI calculations : I do not understand it.

The calculation should be: 525*3 + 8*2 + 4*1 = 1575 + 16 + 4 = 1595. I do not understand who GI comes to the result 1600. Sorry.

I seem to remember that there was an issue a long time ago where the players had to re-fly certain destinations, but they got to keep the stars they already had. @ItsRalphy could probably answer this one.

Ha ha - not sure on this one. @Jenn B explanation makes sense but I cant recall any details, otherwise I would guess either due to event or special destinations, or space flights that haven't recorded properly?

Just thought there were special destinations such as Area 51 that I don't think counted the same as anything else, and needed special planes?

I have an extra 120 stars. A long, long time ago, when you had to restart your game due to the inability of G! to correct/fix whatever the issue was, G! would gift your new game, coins, airport cash, sometimes buildings and stars. The reason for all of the gifts was so that you could reacquire about the same place in your game very quickly. You were expected to spend the airport cash speeding up all of your terminal and tower buildings. The stars were so that you could purchase all of the buildings for flight items and fly to higher level destinations instead of having to fly for stars to unlock those abilities.

When G! gifted a game stars, they failed to mark an appropriate amount of destinations off as having achieved the stars. You could fly to any destination over time and double up on whatever stars that G! gave to you.

Added to that there are some event destinations which were taken out …… the complete Dragon Rising event dissappeared for a while, Long Awaited Mail lost the destinations for Mauritius (TBird) and Jamaica (Condor), Thanksgiving Day lost Plymouth (Eagle) and Fukuoka (Giant). I know my max is 1582- unless some of those flights have come back!
Everyones max will be different depending when they started….
