What w no more posts regarding the new update from @Ur-quan I'm starting to think the devs and GI have spent the entire budget this year on a stupid wasted intro into the game that has nothing at all with improving the gameplay itself. As I have noticed, more and more buildings are being retired, some right after the events, whether its needed to complete the event or the reward, only to be offered up at an exuberant amount of greenies, that right now very few players around the world can afford to buy.

Actually at this point I might renew my Xbox game pass subscription, pay 9.99 US $$ per month and play something more realistic

It's funny you brought up Ivan, because before he left, I remembered him saying that there were things coming down the pipe that we would love. So far, I think the bonus structure and the equality of launch items are included in that, but I expect the rest of those "nice perks" to come with 8.0 (hangar overhaul being one of them).
I was just saying yesterday that the game has gotten stagnant. There has been a lot of improvements for the new players, but the vets have been left hanging. If they would pay more attention to the things that the vets do, it would make a huge difference. For instance, creating a new launch mission, new jets that have a different perk rather than just more pax or shorter flight time, or an awesome rewards system for collecting stars. I think if they introduced a way to individualize each player's fleet, that would make a huge difference. I'm hoping 8.0 is the ace up their sleeve; we desperately need an ace

I'm in the mood for a couple of gripes too.

1) I hope they do something for the vets. Before V7 I had paid out for greenies to fill up my hanger and then got the reserve hanger, plenty of room for all my planes, and then they stole it all away; real cash down the drain. I understand the upgrade for in-game challenges to go for gold but the compensation was pathetic.

2) Urquan doesn't seem as interested as Ivan was in mixing with us and answering questions: he's answered none of the three 'pleasant' ones that I sent him. I don't bother with him anymore, what's the point. We either take what GI dishes up or we leave.

3) I don't mind gremlins but some of them are quite debilitating such as 'Vegas Casino' in the Videos which kyboshed all my main and support account growth, and then, even with a ticket, they never put serious errors right quickly.

Apart from that (What have the Romans actually given us? LOL ), it's a really enjoyable game.

An unusual and obviously temporary moany time from a normally happy and content Baz No need to reply, I shall take another Valium.

Btw, I love your idea about the possibility of plane “upgrade” like in NFS.

Unfortunately, I’m afraid this one is purely cosmetic. But maybe your idea will come through, that would be awesome.

What I'm thinking: after last update, we all know that there were major screw ups in GI. That's why I'm guessing they are delaying the major update. At least, they planned to release 8.0 this week, but couldn't. So decided to switch things around to keep things going.

Yesterday, people noticed that the "event" update appeared instead of the previous "major update".

Anyway that's only my guess. Seems to me that we can't rely on the developers anymore to update us on what's changing and everything, we should just enjoy it.

At one time I would agree with you, but they have made an adjustment in our favor of giving each item an equal chance in the launch chests, so I don't expect any more changes in regards to that

What with all the options of makin friends w the ol folks from AC. long time players, that have planetariums, training centers, academies, launchpads, mission control, and, phew, cosmic fuel depots, and the fact that you have 5 chances of an item drop per neighbor X 12 each day plus any you own................... Nope no factories there.


I just keep watching and thinking that the more players that join and stay a while, the more items and buildings are only obtainable using greenies as opposed to coins or earned even.

An example is the new future house for 8 greens. Why? And look at the items dropped from it. Why not something unique from it? So many other ways and places to get those things

I know, but since I'm not in their shoes, I can only guess that they just haven't been as sharp recently because of all that's happening. Just like us, they have their families to take care of and all of that stuff, and I can't imagine development under the current circumstances to be easy. It's also possible that they're focusing more on 8.0 at the moment than fixing errors that will most likely be addressed with the upgrade anyway. All of this is speculation....no facts behind it at all 😅

Just not organized or coordinated if you ask me. One does one thing, someone else does something else, no one checks they are compatible. Total lack of communication. Doesn’t that sound familiar UrQuan! Come back Free2Play.
