Just a quick question. Does anyone ever reach Platina with the quest. Every team I reach the needed point I stay in Titanium. For instance, today I’ve got more than 2000 point which should be sufficient for Platina

As it was already explained on multiple occasions: the threshold for Platinum shows the point needed to join at reset time (1am UK time). After that the players in Platinum increase their points and as only 100 players could be in Platinum the number of points required to join increases during the day. At the end of the day it is close to next-day threshold.
Example: if now Platinum shows 12,100 puts it means 22:30 hrs ago that was enough to join Platinum. Now you’ll need much more.

For anyone who think this event reward building Field Laboratory is worse than any excavation buildings as it's 3x3, produces one collectible item per day and only add max pop +20 (rather than +50). You're so wrong 🤣

I tried experimenting on flights to Excavations - Meso-America where I purchased for 2000 coins and only gives me 100 coins plus the same map which is a seldom item. So who is in his right mind fly these flights when you continually spend fuel lose coins from these flight? These excavation flights are absurd.

So who is in his right mind fly these flights when you continually spend fuel lose coins from these flight? These excavation flights are absurd.

I have to disagree. The excavation flights will give you maps to fly to destinations which will give you drops for adventure buildings. As you complete the collections you will get a large bronze chest or gold chest which will give you gold and silver tokens, plus fuel and items for launches. The adventure buildings you get will give you daily drops for collections, including vintage weathervane, sky captain, buildings, mystery bonuses and too much else to mention. You would do well to use at least a regular dice when flying excavation maps, and you will be surprised at how quickly your adventure maps build up.

Excavation maps are flown for the collections that you can complete. I have not spent a lot of time on them, but click on the buildings and the gold chest and you will quickly see why people like flying excavation maps. But, all parts of the game are not for everyone. Ok. Thanks. Seems this is a time consuming flight as you still obtain a map for a specific destination (seldom) and luckily collecting 6 different items (all of it six times) to obtain a building using the map seldomly obtained. Wow. This is a tough grind! Collection items ( with equal chances) are not really statistically equal. Take the case of my Ancient Reptile collection collection. All are obtained from the same guest planes but my distribution of collection is 17 / 19 / 4 / 73 / 8. There is pre-ponderance of T-rex tail items (73) than the rest. Seems the app is programmed in dropping items that you have plenty.

But the maps that is obtained is seldomly dropped and that you have to collected 6 different items six times. Unless you have lots of coins, a hundred excavation maps maps and planes to fly, this is a grind.

OK. did not know the free maps through ads. So this also means that 1 excavation map can be used by more than 1 plane? Seems interesting for the free maps though ads but do not know how to activate these.

The Air Magnometer and Plasma Clot are used for the flights for this event. You can see the destinations, planes needed and flight items needed by clicking on the flights tab, then on the last tab (starred - event flights)
