I think it's still as reliable as traditional online games.
All your data are on the server of the game developer or service provider, not on your mobile phone or tablet.
The data when you log in to the game is the last time you went offline.

Last time this happened, GI had to issue an update to fix it. Nothing we could do but wait. I suggest submitting a ticket to GI.

Thanks but it just fixed itself somehow!
I had all my Gazebos de-roaded, put a road back in front of one, and the third task fixed itself and is asking for Gazebo visits! A coincidence?!?

My first two tasks say 3d+ to refresh now, has anyone faced it and any tips to fix them?
