Mission accomplished.
Thanks to GI for a quest specifically created for long-time players. It wasn't that difficult but it did eat up three hours.
Special thanks to @AJ for taking the lead. And thanks to the other QL and regular fliers for their assistance.
Cheers,
Tom

This event is just what us inexperienced players need. Seriously guys, those of us in the early stages look to befriend long term players with goodies like planetariums, training centres and QL's to drop into our space flights and enhance our game. As GIS is giving the longterm players a reward for continuing to stay in the game, I and many like me will continue to receive benefits from the long term players to progress our game (as fewer longterm players will lose interest and leave).

So to all those 80+ players with a vault full of QL's, enjoy the event. In fact if you can, get two or three rewards - those of us that are your neighbours may suddenly find ourselves enjoying a new source of goodies when we visit you.

What I am trying to tell those players who are at the same stage of the game as me is that there is plenty in the game for us to achieve even though this event is out of our reach. Please dont sulk, I am still playing because there is so much I can still achieve - and the best advice I have read on this forum, was to pace yourself and dont try and achieve everything too quickly, unless you won the National Lottery and have a few million £ (or dollars, yen, euros, etc) to invest in AC. I have only completed one event since starting the game 7 months ago because there are so many other things to achieve and I cannot do everything at once.

Wow. This event is clearly just for really high level players. I'm only a casual player, though I have been playing for many years (now at level 75). I will keep working on my adventure maps and try to get some adventure buildings and space buildings. They should not call them lunar missions though, because the space shuttle does not fly to the moon. (grin)
One problem that I have is that I have a lot of maps that I have collected from adventure flights, but I do not know which airplanes are required fro which flights. I do not want to use a map for which I do not have an airplane. I guess I will figure it out somehow.

All adventure flights are always visible in the Adventure Tab of the Flights, so you can always see which destination needs what plane.
Do you mean the maps from green / blue / red launches? Green maps are always TP, Landing Lamp needed. Blue maps are Jets, Add Radar or Spare Wire needed. Red maps are always Jumbo, no flight item needed.

Thanks for the information. I checked the adventure flights tab and you are correct. the information about the green blue and red launches was very helpful. I should start working on those flights too.

Chill out guys, sometimes advance players need a celebration and appreciation. I guess this one for them, who we are eager to be their neighbor and click on the planetarium, training center, astronaut academy.. not to forget all the rare building items that we need to have to complete the construction. If not by them, who else can assist us?

Kudos who had completed it, for beginner like me, take it as a challenge in the future.

This is a quest about having neighbors... flying solo it's impossible even if you use a QL every day. A single QL only cuts launch times down to 2.5hrs, but two and it's down to 20min, and three is 2min... today I've been on launches that have as many as 6 QL and can land instantly. Take note of those who are finishing the quest, starting QL parties, etc... make friends. I thought this quest was going to be impossible (the first I'd not be able to complete is over 5 years) until I came on the forums and made some new friends.

I accidentally started a new launch instead of joining a launch, can some of my neighbors with QL help me out? I don't need any positions, just want to get out of that read launch. Thanks!
Joined with my QL... one more and the return will go much faster. Then again, a breather might be nice 34 non-stop launches was fun o_O
