Plane drops are near zero

Sent 150 planes out and all I got was three ear plugs and two attitude indicators - and I only got those because they drop always from their flights. Using golden dice for the next 50 flights my planes dropped two items besides the items that always drop. This is not fun playing with such low drop rate. It seemed to have improved before the last event and now it is worse than it was before it had temporarily improved. I'm so discouraged I'm not sending planes out today and hope when I do send them out on a trial run (maybe tonight) something will have reset and I will get items from them because if I don't, there is no point in sending out planes for nothing and will concentrate on rocket launches, gifting, and neighbor visits. Guest plane drops seem to be fine - it's only my planes the drop rates have gone to nearly zero.

They are only "free" if your planes are dropping the items to complete the collections. My planes are dropping near ZERO hence the post about plane drops being near zero. SMH

Adventure buildings drop those items, takes a while but they are free. Golden dice can only be purchased with greenies.

You shouldn't have to spend greenies (REAL MONEY) to get your planes to drop items. GI seems to be all about getting people to spend money any way possible instead of giving their customers a fun game to play.

Unfortunately their customers are the people who spend real money on this game, in effect the people who pay real money subsidise those who play for free. (Also adverts help). Without them there would be no incentive for continually updating the game. Drops do come eventually, but, free 2 play model has always favoured spending real money to gain faster progession.

The point is that GI has blurred this line. Greens are not same as real money in this game, as you get 3 greens per week for absolutely nothing, plus is you're good enough you can buy green-producing buildings (casino, mint) that will yield you hundreds of greens with no real money involved whatsoever.

Very true about that blurred line.
However lots of 'big players' spend real money as well to get to the gold tokens that buy those green-producing buildings. Either through buying succes in space flight and rankings, either through purchasing gold tokens.

What I was trying to say is that while some of greens are real money, not all of them are. So when you get scammed into involuntary purchase, it's hard to tell whether it was real money that you've lost or just GI took back some stuff they gave you. This makes you immediately doubt if your loss was a real one.

A green is a green. And adding to your reason, since G! hands them out weekly, you can install green producers and you can make purchases I think G! sees greens as a depreciated version of real money. Don't forget the weekly 300% sale, the so-called discount. Makes you think of what a greenie is really worth, to a player but also to G!

I'm not negating the inherent value of a green. I'm talking about what a player feels when spending/losing them. When you accidentally lose something you paid real money for - you're outraged. When you lose something that's relatively easy to earn (like gold) you're like "eh, easy come, easy go".

When do you stop answering a thread? :p:ROFLMAO:;)

Yes, those feelings are very accurate. I experienced them first hand.
