Here's the cost of setting up Oil Refinery on FB version;

Small Oil Refinery:
Level 1 - 50000 Coin's ( Increases Max. Fuel by 15)
Level 2 - 200000 Coin's( Increases Max. Fuel by 20)
Level 3 - 2000000 Coin's( Increases Max. Fuel by 30)

Powerful Oil Refinery:
Level 1 - 10 Green's( Increases Max. Fuel by 25)
Level 2 - ???? Green's(????)
Level 3 - 2000 Green's( Increases Max. Fuel by 40)

According to a player if we make both refineries and upgrade them to level 3, Our Max fuel Will be 270(110 + 65 + 95)

I think we need to look at it from different perspective. They maybe consider it as a great benefit for the players who can afford it, as a competitive advantage. From my point of view I do not see too much difference having 230 or 270 fuel, time wise we talk about 3:50 and 4:30 hours. It is just one plane extra you could send out after you wake up. When you are old we talk maybe about 2 planes extra per day, as you wake up during the night anyway at least once. I would say there will be a huge difference if it would be related to have max 110 or 150, because due to the meetings and other duties I have sometimes trouble to start the game in time to prevent reaching cap 110 points. Thanks to mint and casino restarts I will hit 2k greenies pretty soon, but considering the 7 extra planes send out each week (average price to send out the plane in greenies is 6), we talk about 50 weeks return of investment. Actually if I am not mistaken, I have never sent out the plane for greenies by intention, yes, by mistake there were some. I still believe there are players in the game, they can afford to purchase it as a matter of pride.

Exactly, 2000 Green's is a one time investment and some of the top player's who has already achieved everything in the game can surely afford it. And everyone can afford powerful oil refinery level 1 for 10 Green's.
I am pretty much sure that fuel problem is going to be solved to some extent.
You can try using Bottomless Barrel and secret Faucet. Your fuel gauge would then be at 540,Fuel will be restored pretty quickly as well by help of secret Faucet.

I will buy someday. Not now but someday.... It is not about calculation, but its a milestone...... You can do your calculation, but you have to buy it someday as a milestone. Its like you dont need level 10 townhall, but you build it anyway....

Don't forget that you can get 100 units of fuel free every 24 hours for watching videos. Just tap the fuel icon at the top of the screen. Do it five times.
It appears to reset when your gifting/visiting resets.

I have supported GI by using real money, but it will be a badge of honor for me that I will not have a refinery that costs 2000 greens. I will be very proud of that.

On android it will be even faster, usually there is one or two games per mont for installation, and you can get 4 greenies for each.... Hope GI will offer this one day for iOS too...

If only there was no bug on this - since June update - I can't get any greenies for game installation. If I want to do it, I have to make screen shots, open ticket, wait, wait, wait some more and then after long debates that according to their system I received greenies - I finally get them.

I don't know the cost of level 2 powerful oil refinery but yes it increases your max. Fuel by 30.

It now takes 3 minutes for fuel to regenerate 1 unit, used to take 90 seconds. So I have 230 fuel capacity and it only regenerates 20 units per hour as opposed to 40 units per hour. Still better than a stick in the eye but it's BS that they doubled the time it takes to regenerate fuel.

On Facebook the fuel timer is 3 minutes for 1 unit.
You may be using secret Faucet to decrease the timer.

You missed my point AJ. Before the oil refinery upgrade the fuel timer was 90 seconds for one unit. What is the point of doubling the capacity if it takes twice as long to fill the tank. Regardless of tank size you are still only auto generating the same amount of fuel per day. The secret faucet doesn't decrease the time, rather it gives 2 units every 3 minutes instead of 1, which by the way, was the original productivity of auto generated fuel, 2 units every 3 minutes.
