Once you achieve the higher levels in the game, your goals become quite a bit limited in terms of gameplay. Most go after alliance maps, gather more passenger buildings, or continue to gather more stars. However, it would be nice if some novel objectives are added to the game this year to keep veteran players striving. What are some ideas that you guys would want to see implemented? A new space mission? A new plane? Go ahead and drop your ideas.

Three things come to mind, however, I am only at level 38.

1) The cost of land is absurd. This must be a huge negative for many players. Perhaps it's time to offer an alternative to using greenies. Why not offer blocks for coins too? Even something like 250,000, I think that's fair. If you must, maybe charge greens for something else?

2) Beautification. Many, myself included, would like to have a more realistic looking city, even though this can certainly take up real estate. I dislike many crowded cities where one has to hunt for a specific building. Plus they are not too appealing to me. So- How about some parks, lakes, gardens, but in larger blocks like 3x3 or 4x4? They should be available at very low coin rates as one would need to grab extra land to compensate.

3) Space launch drop items. I believe that some older buildings that used to offer needed items to launch, no longer do so, or at very low rates. We should make it easier to obtain these items, and or offer new ones. I can't help feel that this would benefit GI also, as the more launches we can complete, the greater silver and gold to purchase things.
Well if we make our gold and silver tokens in game, GI wont make any profit from us purchasing them. Some good ideas, and yes land gets super expensive as you purchase more. Regular price for land right now is 100 greenies, which is a pretty penny

I do think the game is getting a bit boring. I used to use spyglass a lot but now it's not worth paying 9 greenies for it. I'm still surprised you raised the price for a plot of land to 60 greenies a while back. Maybe some realistic planes like some Boeing or Airbus planes would be nice. I would like like to see some better rewards from events. The last event's reward was hot worth playing for. A wedding house wasn't appealing.

I agree on the cost of land. I remember when I paid 20 greenies for land three years ago. It's now 60. To boot, concerning beautification, most neighbor's cities look messy and aesthetically unpleasant. In my city, my city is fluid with roads and districts like a Chinatown, business center, downton with high rises, food districts and a whole university area. I try to make it a more realistic than others. If you like to take a look, please use my friend code: amsta3g.

I think the key problem with a lot of your comments is the price of land and that increases with each expansion you do. Even if I could buy a piece of land with greenies, it would about 10 per plot at this point while it might have been seven (this is during the half-off sale). That is causing a lot of perverse consequences that go way beyond what you are saying. For example, I had to remove a lot of connecting road just to use more space for various buildings to make things as compact as I could. The roads in my community are quite minimal now because of this. And keep in mind also, that as your levels increase, you need to build more facilities such the mechanical plant, hi-tech-plant, launch pads, etc.

And I also noticed a problem with the Space program because it seems to be harder to obtain a collection "Running Wild" which you need for the treadmill to launch the green rocket. I could buy the "Stone Castle" for 12 greenies but I don't have the greenie and I do not want to buy greenies with my own money if I can avoid it (that goes down a dark road where you wind spending more than you should).

If you want a game where you develop realistic communities, you may want to consider something like "City Skylines" which is more oriented towards the community rather than a business. Airport City and City Skylines are both GOOD games in their own right.

We’ve been asking to fly to Mars for as long as I can remember on this forum. I think GI rode quietly into the sunset on that one...
I think they'll eventually expand. The Final Frontier has long been a fascination to mankind, and with all the space related sci-fi as well as actual goals to reach Mars someday, there is plenty of motivation to expand the space program in the game. Space travel is still a popular feature in the game, and there are plenty of ways to add on to it.

Just been reading this and I must add I feel rather disheartened to play. I'm only lvl34 and probably spent about 30 quid on the game so far. Not a huge amount but it's the cost of a pc game so meh. If land goes up to 60 greenies and the 100 collection limit screws you over, I dont see any way forward accept for spending hundreds of pounds of your own money. What for, just to get a stupid collection building or something.

If anyone wants to restore my faith im all ears.

p.s what the fu*ks with the wood chop gimmick. Are you trying to kill people with OCD lol!! the drop rates worse than one in a thousand.

This game gets even better as you advance, so I would keep going and unlock the other things in the game. I definitely ended up spending money, but I have no regrets in doing so. I know many players who have not spent a dime, and have nice cities all the same.
By the way, if you advance and start flying 50k pax a week or more, you can join my alliance The Supernovas (saw your alliance post earlier)

I think one key in this is realizing that walking away and accepting any "loss" is important. I do have a backup game "City Skylines" that I can play if this becomes too insidious (I fear that can happen). It's also a good idea to consider greenies "your money" especially if you buy some. ANd I also recommend steering away from things like "Mystery Building X" for X greenies. At the moment, I do consider that to be a form of gambling (I don't gambling references such as "casino buildings") but some items are so rare, they actually might have a real world value.

The thing is that can't ear the greenies like you earn coin in the game (there's only 80 levels) and you probably would get one every five days. I could be missing at level 56 and I don't have everything available from that level. I'm trying to take a slow and steady approach.

Wait until you get adventure buildings. I finally got my Paul Bunyon statue and I don't think I've chopped more than 10 trees.

And don't forget the 3 free greenies you get every week. They add up, but very slowly.

i tend to agree whith many points mentionned in these post i personally are at a point where i have done it all seen it all and feel like iam repeating the same thing over and over again.
The main reason iam hanging on is that i got many friends and neighbors in the forum that keep in toutch thrue alliance and other threads
Think its time G.I needs to start adding newer events that wil keep our intrest in the game allive
And maybe even considder adding new destenations , new buildings ,planes and so on .
For example 1 possibility to buy new superbuildings (with lots of pax ore coins) with greens ore token .
2
possibility to upgrade buildings (more pax ore coins generated)
3 possibility to upgrade Planes (faster and and less feul needed)

also land expantion on the city side are in need to be upped i reached the limmit and still need space to put hard earned buildings that now are in the warehouse
G.i is in need of a major update that would considerably change the gameplay ore add considerable features so the interest in the game want get lost .

I agree with the land expansion issue, I am at level 66 and already spending $100.00 per section, ($50.00 if you catch it on sale). the limitations on land sales due to cost and the limitations on the picking the specific buildings you want in your city should also be improved to enhance a positive gamer experience.

They should make land unlimited, and make you have different sections to the game, like in megapolis, and if you have three stars on the space missions (lunar specifically) the option to bring moon base items to the moon to build a moon base, and then you can colonies the moon and send rockets farther.

Game companies develop and make games. the simplest idea is how to make money from the game and make profits instead of serving the public. . . .
Of course, they will carefully compromise some of them, ensuring to retain some active users who spend money, and possibly making som
e users who do not want to spend money feel reluctantly acceptable.
Game companies develop and make games,The ultimate goal is to make profits by relying on games,The game itself is not intended to serve the public.。
At the same time of making profits, some compromises will be made, such as keeping active accounts that spend money as much as possible, and being careful
to make accounts that do not spend money feel reluctantly acceptable and continue.
After the game began to mature, it is difficult to make new breakthroughs and changes in style and rhythm because it has been running for several years or even longer, which is a well-known bottleneck.
