Once you achieve the higher levels in the game, your goals become quite a bit limited in terms of gameplay. Most go after alliance maps, gather more passenger buildings, or continue to gather more stars. However, it would be nice if some novel objectives are added to the game this year to keep veteran players striving. What are some ideas that you guys would want to see implemented? A new space mission? A new plane? Go ahead and drop your ideas.

I would fly for S3 planes ! for the 3 smallest planes, that is easy ! but for others, with 100 item limit, it will take forever !

For 5 S3 Giants : 7 500 flights (so 15 000 items ! ! !) + 3 750 000 pax + 1 065 000 fuel (maximum) and lot of repair items ! with no bonus.

I Don't dare to think about S3 Condor !

Event based ideas: Airport city marathon events where for a limited amount of time, you are challenged to fly a specific number of flights to certain destinations ( to probably get a reward building that produces a random mystery set item per day etc), space events that require you to complete the space collections( to probably get reward building that gives bonus that increases launch income, or provides a launch item every 12 hours in launch box sequence using the cosmic fuel station format), short Happy New Year event to bring a happy new year mood once the year begins etc. Having back to back events almost all the time are really diluting my interests in completing most events especially this year.

Personally I feel as though the game is getting a bit boring - a bit slow.
It feels like most of the big changes as of late have just been making things more difficult for the player, rather than the introduction of new content.
I'm talking about the 100 limit obviously, and the massive reductions of space launch preparation items that have happened over the years. If I have an hour spare now, I couldn't spend an hour playing on the game because there isn't enough in it to keep me busy for that time. The upshot is, that over time it becomes less compelling to return because everything takes too long. There was a lot to do before these changes, and it would have taken a long time.
New content would certainly be nice, but I have to wonder how achievable would it be for players to get?
If they introduce a new launch pad - great, but are we going to see a change in the way we collect launch prep? QLs have almost lost their relevance unless you've a huge stockpile of items from way back when. I exclusively visit planetariums, and typically gain enough items for 1 or 2 launches per day. There is potential of course, why not do something different with the Cosmic Fuel Station. A new plane would be great again, but it'll probably cost 200 greens to gain an additional slot in the item production facility. On that note, the cost of land is becoming ludicrous, too much to justify spending money anymore. I don't have thousands of pounds to spend to expand my land to the maximum size, so I've come to the decision that it isn't worth spending anymore - there is no thrill in spending £10 (~100 notes), to gain 2 4x4 plots of land.
I've often thought about a -90% bonus for planes - but again one would argue there isn't much point when fuel generation in game is rather slow, and launches are so scarce
I struggle to understand the way things are going with the game. Slowing progress just makes me lose interest, and I don't have the money to pay the extortionate costs for practically nothing in return - if I'm spending my money, I want to feel good about it, and lately, I haven't been.

I have to agree with you. I quit spending money when the 100 item limit went into effect. And I feel like I'm doing the same thing day after day. Events are all repeats (Not complaining - that's great for newer players). IF there are flights I haven't 3-starred in events, I'll work on those. I'm trying to get motivated to work on more adventure and S3 flights. I do appreciate the way the bonuses are working now - was able to knock out 6 QLs in practically no time at all. Curious to see how stacking them works with S3s and adventure flights.

Well thats already a goal in the game. I meant new ideas that arent currently in the game

Solid event ideas. I do think we need a revamp of the launch section of the game. It's great as is, but is way overdue for some kind of expansion/modification

@Barkmi4 (Mike) @crescent moon this is EXACTLY why I started this thread. I find myself reaching my limit in terms of goals in this game. The S3s are a definite goal, but once I get the planes I want, what then?
I completely agree about land purchases being way too expensive, and I also don't see the point of collecting any more of the adventure buildings than I already have, since I have all the coin/pax buildings I want and have completed all the regular collections at least once. I could get more gold tokens, but for what? Reserve Hangar 2 is not all it's cracked up to be in my opinion. So long as the alliance tasking depends on all aircraft in the fleet instead of just the active fleet, there is no point in expansion, as you will be permanently stuck with swift flights as your first task.
Don't get me started on collecting stars. At this point, the only reason I'm trying for stars is to get a color star next to my name that I like. Otherwise, there is no fulfillment for me in doing that. Maybe if they unlocked some amazing abilities as you gather more stars will motivate me to collect them. Growing to lvl 100? What good would that do? I would just max out again in a couple months. You see what I'm getting at? I feel like the game needs some high end goals/objectives that are different from what we have now. Maybe a new space mission and some further development/modification to the space program to allow for it to be as advanced as the airplane side of things...for example. Something new is needed that changes the gameplay. The 100 item limit is a pain, but it did change my playing style, which in itself was a rejuvenation for me.

But if think it couldn't get bad, I actually quit a game, "Megopolis" because you could only buy an expansion where you want with their "greenie" equivalent and I never had enough so I was getting like 4 millionpoints and couldn't spend it (no land, no extra parts for anything). "Megopolis's quests" required parts that may or not get fast enough unless spend more "greenies". I had enough and quit.

Anyway, sorry for my rant but that it struck a raw nerve with me.

But my thoughts are these:
1) You should be able to buy things like "Solar Powered Stations" (not panels) without greenies (just regular coins)
2) You should be able to buy things such as extra hanger slots (Reserve Hanger only has 1 and you can't exchange airplanes with only one slot). Besides, the way "Level 3" is presented seems to imply you get an extra slot even if you don't.
3) You should be able to buy things such as extra catering slots so you don't run out of meals during flights and with expansions being so costly, it might make better sense to be able to use the points to buy the extra slots). Sending a helicopter to Banff is an option as well as trying to ask neighbors for flight meals (but you can't chat with anyone in the game).

I would like to see the 100 limit removed. I have just started doing alliance maps and need a lot of items

Well the idea of using greenies is a way to bypass a lot of restrictions, and that is up to each player to decide. If you find yourself running out of items, then yes you can simply build more for your needs. Using coins should always be an option, I agree, but the main issue I'm pointing at is to open up some new options for advanced players who have done all they could to this point.

Well that has been a debate for many years, and the limit is here to stay, so you have to improvise and work with what you have. It requires multiple maps to get what you want, but it could be done. Apparently the limit is for profitability purposes, but I don't know the truth behind that.

Just quite hard as when I choose to do map I'm using fuel to end over and over so when needs an item I hope that don't run out before I get what i need

You may want to join a fuel ring to get additional fuel, and do lots of rocket launches since you can get barrels of fuel as a reward. As for items, you can only keep 100 in the warehouse, but you can collect more from gifts and use them before they expire. You also have bonus items that can be used to increase your drop rate. That's the norm of map flying

Thanks I get a lot of fuel everyday and I do a lot of QL launches it's just flight items I worry about running out of
 
i tend to agree whith many points mentionned in these post i personally are at a point where i have done it all seen it all and feel like iam repeating the same thing over and over again.
The main reason iam hanging on is that i got many friends and neighbors in the forum that keep in toutch thrue alliance and other threads
Think its time G.I needs to start adding newer events that wil keep our intrest in the game allive
And maybe even considder adding new destenations , new buildings ,planes and so on .
For example 1 possibility to buy new superbuildings (with lots of pax ore coins) with greens ore token .
2
possibility to upgrade buildings (more pax ore coins generated)
3 possibility to upgrade Planes (faster and and less feul needed)


also land expantion on the city side are in need to be upped i reached the limmit and still need space to put hard earned buildings that now are in the warehouse
G.i is in need of a major update that would considerably change the gameplay ore add considerable features so the interest in the game want get lost .

How about at level 80 you can build a moon base and start flying to other places within the solar system. Maybe Mars, Venus, asteroids and the moons of Jupiter.

Three things come to mind, however, I am only at level 38.

1) The cost of land is absurd. This must be a huge negative for many players. Perhaps it's time to offer an alternative to using greenies. Why not offer blocks for coins too? Even something like 250,000, I think that's fair. If you must, maybe charge greens for something else?

2) Beautification. Many, myself included, would like to have a more realistic looking city, even though this can certainly take up real estate. I dislike many crowded cities where one has to hunt for a specific building. Plus they are not too appealing to me. So- How about some parks, lakes, gardens, but in larger blocks like 3x3 or 4x4? They should be available at very low coin rates as one would need to grab extra land to compensate.

3) Space launch drop items. I believe that some older buildings that used to offer needed items to launch, no longer do so, or at very low rates. We should make it easier to obtain these items, and or offer new ones. I can't help feel that this would benefit GI also, as the more launches we can complete, the greater silver and gold to purchase things.
