Can someone please let me know from where the gyroscope drops off, from which flight destinations.

I am sure from gift items we can receive it as one of option.

You can either gift gyroscopes or altimeters. I don't believe they drop on guest planes or from flight destinations

As @Davescharf said gifts from neighbors is only option and it is either gyro or alti. It would be wise to plan in advance to stash some of both when you are going to use planes who require it for repairs.

I never like to keep less then 10 around. 30 is better. Nothing worse when you find out that you're out!

Put Gyro/Alti behind your in-game name for a couple of days. You'll stock up quickly and turn back to normal gifts.
Always worked for me...

Probably not, but it still is worth it to get the 6 post offices plus one can get more stars from special flights.
