Finally, in the nick of time, just managed to finish event. Mugs drop from Washington was very difficult, had to sell a load of planes as well to get enough of the others to stand a chance of completing.

So, what’s next, the Christmas one? Hardly getting any excavation quest flights in at the minute as it feels like the events are almost running back to back...

Question regarding next year...I'm only at 6/10 for the "Assemble the Mug Collection" unfortunately didn't make it to 10 this year...Do you happen to know if it'll carry over to next year? Like I'll start at 6/10 and only need to get 4 more

yes, it will carry over to next year but GI may set up the event so it does not use previous collections only individual collection item counts.

Nope, you will not carry carry current progression.
The only way to carry progression is to not reclaim the collection (and keep them in your chest).
Next year, you are beginning from scratch again, but with some collection ready to be reclaimed.

That is working the same for building, except that you are also able to put a building in your warehouse, and to build it again (for those possible to put in warehouse).
someone told it was working for university for example, you don't have to win a fresh building from the collection, but to build one (either a fresh or an old you have packed).
