Gifts Not Received ?????? 7/1/2013

I have noticed that approx 10 of my Good Neighbors (y) have not been sending me gifts.
I PM'd each of them and they confirmed that they have sent me a Gift every day! The following is one of their replies:
"Yes! I am sending a gyroscope to you every day, but there is a gifting glitch. A few people have mentioned it in the Trading Threads. Yesterday I only received 4 gifts. Same today. Something is going on. People are also reporting that they can't see other neighbors launches. I have been stuck on the launch pad for 3 days and can't find a launch to join. This is a horrible glitch. I hope GI fixes it soon.
According to my log, I have sent you a gyroscope every day since June 21st, except for a deicer on the 24th and then a deicer AND gyroscope on the 25th. I hate that they aren't getting to you. :-("

I experienced same problem after the latest update "land of opportunity" but the other way - my neighbors didn't receive my gifts while I am still able to receive. Also I can't see any neighbors space launch.

Yes today I have had enough no gifts, launch problems. We are trying to sort this out between ourselves GI should be doing something no reply from them as yet. Everyone should do the same. Neil Ellor Captain tneil

yep - I have two cases outstanding with GIS - one on the android and one on the iOS - issues are:
  • Gifts sent are not being received
  • Unable to use the weekend code
  • No confirmation when adding a new neighbour and they are never added
  • Notification that a gift has been received but none are there in the game when I check
  • Unable to see any of my neighbours launches
  • My launch is not seen by any of my neighbours.

Mrstepot This seems very strange. I would think that most players keep the "Waiting TAB" at zero. Well give it a try - got my fingers crossed! (y) -- Bill --

I think a machine is sending the canned reply. I believe it is an auto reply with the name of the next support person in line to help attached.

Once you reply to the canned reply, you start talking to an actual person

billsnj LOL!!! That's hysterical, Bill! That makes as much sense to me as clearing my "waiting" tab to see if that fixes the glitch! :LOL: ROFL!

syapik and jackjackeli sent me a request for my support game and I didn't see them in my waiting list. Then randomly I went to the "Add" section, the section where random players just pop out and you have the option to try adding or removing them and let the countdown begin to reset the list, removed several random players and BAM both syapik and jackjackeli were in my waiting list instantly.

I'm not sure if that really is the solution but maybe worth a try? I know this is not about gifting issue but well this is one of the bugs that is happening this time around.
