I play on the Desktop app. And yes: it is very slow. too slow. 5 seconds waiting time (stupid advertisement) becomes at least 15 seconds. Now G.I. is even to stupid to count seconds correct :-(
Yes, game seems to have its own internal clock for some items, which drifts different way each day. This applies to both Steam and Window versions I use for playing most of the time. I have grand casino active and the time, at which 24 hours elapses and new greenie is available, drifts above 24 hours from last pickup by a different time amount each day. For me, it was actually worse before the update, than it is now. But after some time game is running, there are short hangs for a fractions of a second now, this appeared only after the update. For me, restarting the game resolves it. When it starts, it is visible when moving position of the main view. Sometimes my clicks seems to be not accepted or sometimes game thinks I was holding a button during mouse move and position of the view is moved even I was doing simple clicks between mouse moves, just doing that quickly. New 'functionality' I hate the most, is that last positions in the windows are remembered only for a few seconds - e.g. when Event window is opened, it is always opened in progress tab, flight list in Flights window is always on the top, etc. Only when you open window within 2 or 3 seconds after it was closed, the last position is retained, after longer time it is not. This is annoying. When changing factories using less-than and greater-than buttons also sometimes hangs for a second or two, this problem was introduced also only after the last update. And 3000 greenies for skipping 2 hours is like are they become completely mad or do they think we are so stupid?
So I would say that game updates are bit of downgrades masquerading as an upgrades and that game features rot over time...
