I'm more of a walker, had loads of events booked this year, but all have been cancelled.

Yep, Triathlete in the summer (don't like cold feet) and swimming competition in the winter to keep my adrenaline flowing
All of my events also cancelled, i hope this winter there will be some swimming again.
Most difficult part is to stay motivated, I really need a goal to train for (most of the time National or European championship) so you can build it up and peak at the right time

hiking is fun too, especially those hilly paths with great views

Absoulte credit to you. Looked at Triathlon's before, but it's not for me unfortunately.
Luckily one of the event companies I use is doing virtual events. However without using public transport (I love to get the train somewhere and walk back) i'm still limited for mileage each day without getting bored of seeing the same surroundings everyday!

I did a batch for people once upon a time. Unfortunately, they were all either pro bono work and the web site owners couldn't keep them updated, or the businesses are no longer around. So I really have nothing left to show for it
