Not everyone reads "New Posts" or browses the forum home page, so when a new feature like this is released, the only way to get the attention of everyone is via a message like that. As said, always 100% dismisable - It's just a quick way of reaching out to everyone.

Hi @Jon Allen , I've added a new section to the forum called 'Forum issues & suggestions'. Hmm, how strange, just tested on the latest version of Chrome and can't see to replicate that issue.

Are you talking about the game or the forum? What do you mean?

Plus on the chat you can click the help icon (a lifesave symbol) which will tell you what commands are available. Such as, you can seach back through the chat.
