Airport City Alliances Guide

What are Airline Alliances and what do they do?

Airline Alliances are groups of players that join together to achieve common goals. Every week, the best alliances will win rewards, which allow for players to get unique collections, bonuses and black high-speed planes.

How are the Alliance ratings formed?
12647346_1261841800509704_4128364998822935295_n.png

1. An Alliance’s rating depends on the number of passengers all the Alliance members carry over to different destinations.

2. At the end of the week, the total number of passengers is calculated for every Alliance.

3. All Alliance members will get a reward for having placed in the ratings.

4. An Alliance’s level depends on its reputation. You get reputation points for the prize-wining places in the Alliance ratings. The higher the Alliance’s level is, the larger the maximum number of its members becomes. Note that within an Alliance, there is no competition because all the members get equal rewards when their Alliance gets to a prize-winning place in the ratings.

What rewards do the players with the top rating get?
The Alliances that climb to the top will get generous rewards —chests filled with the best bonuses, fuel supplies and flight maps to unique destinations that are available for Alliance members only!

As of 5.4.30, this is the response I got from support regarding gaining alliance reputation:

"For being in ranking 101-500 alliances could get only 1 point of reputation.
Since the last update you will be able to get your reputation points only by participating in weekly tasks."

If you finished 1st and last you'd get 2/3 tasks completed for yourself and your alliance would get 2 out of however many players in the alliance times 3 tasks completed. If you were the only one in your alliance, you'd have between 50% and 70% completion, which would get you 8 alliance reputation points.
You don't need to finish any of the 3 tasks in any order - it doesn't matter.

Hi,

I have decided to leave my alliance as few of the members are doing their tasks, when is the optimum time to leave and join another one?

Keith
Depends if you actually have one to join. If you have an alliance target for the week and your flights and tasks are an essential part, then after reset. If no one is doing anything, then you can leave when you want. Really depends if you have one to join, then it’s negotiation.

I am on the PC and i do not get an option to join an alliance. I can create an alliance, but when i hit the invite button it just gives me a list of 4 people (all of who look to be barely starting the game or have quit).
How do i get the join an alliance option?

The first task consists of your smallest plane.

The second task consists of your largest plane.

The third task consists of the plane you have the most of.

So if your fleet consisted of (I'm just making this up):
1 Swift
2 Owls
2 Hawks
3 Ravens
1 Eagle
4 Jumbos
2 Giants
3 Falcons
1 Thunderbird
2 Condors

Your first task would be a Swift task, your second task would be a Condor task, and your third task would be a Jumbo task.

I hope that makes sense.

It is important to mention that all your planes are counted, those on stands as well as those in reserve. If you want to manipulate the chance of what flights you will get, you need to change the number/type of your planes.
If you want to grow an alliance in the most rapid and most efficient way, you may consider flying Swifts only and getting rid of all other plane types. This is a good task for a support account while your main stays somewhere else. Thus all your alliance tasks will be Swift flights only and in addition you will gain the 100% bonus and the maximum number of alliance points each week.

I 100% agree. The only reason I have Swifts is for alliance tasks.
