How to set up Fuel(20) exchange ring

Since many people are upset about losing the ability to send Fuel(20) from their accounts, here's a guide on how to set up an additional account for exchanging fuel alone. Here are the highlights:
  • Minimum time and effort to play the fuel account (about 30 seconds a day)
  • Get up to 20× Fuel(20) on top on your regular gifts

Some people have already ran such rings in the past or are running them currently: @RavenENTP , @gbswales - I am building up on great work they've done, thanks guys!

Here's how to do it:
  1. Find up to 19 other players who will participate in the scheme
  2. Create a support account (guide on supports is here) that can send fuel(20) and level it up to lvl10
  3. Add your main account to your support's neighbors
  4. Add other people's main accounts to your support's neighbors
Now, all you do with your support is to: log in, select fuel gift, tick all checkboxes and click "send". The longest part of playing your fuel support is actually waiting for the game to load : )

All of the above seem obvious, but in the fuel exchange ring don'ts are way more important than dos:
  1. Don't add any other neighbors than your main and 19 other people's mains!
  2. Don't do any XP actions! Don't send flights, don't land guest planes, etc.
In fact I recommend selling all hangars and runways once you reach lvl 10. Here's why: such rings fall apart because people do actually play support accounts. They begin to need items for buildings, eg Flight School. This leads to adding other supports to get the items - and that ruins the simpleness of sending Fuel(20) to everybody, because now you have to keep track on who is a main and who is just a support. Supports level up, so new gifts become available - and this again ruins the simpleness of sending one gift to everybody, because now you have to keep track on who needs what. Once the simpleness is lost, you tend to spend more and more time on your support, it becomes a tedious task, and you inevitably WILL abandon the support and the ring falls apart. This is how I abandoned some of my many supports, because the day is not long enough to play 5 games full-time.

Keep it simple, less is more. The slower you drive, the farther you get!

This is making no sense to me. It all hinges on other people's main account sending out fuel, right? But it will be going to your support account, not to your main account? What am I missing here? The most i see you will be getting is 20 fuel from your own support account. I must be missing something.

You have it the other way around: It all hinges on other people's support account sending out fuel to your main account. And your own support account sending Fuel to your main account.

Yes, @Crash McPlane , your main game adds all the neighbour's support games in order to receive all the fuel.
Your support game adds all the neighbour's main games in order to send all the fuel.

regarding "support Accounts" I have an Ipad with my main game on, and an iPhone with my second account on.
I did not expect to enjoy playing the game so much I play that both accounts far more often than is good for me.
I did start a game on my facebook account but the gameplay was a lot less satisfactory somehow, so I never got beyond about level 5 on that account.

Yes I see it now. Everyone in the "Ring" must create a support account. Ok sounds good. anyone interested? @Waldo41 and I are creating one. PM us to let us know if your interested.

One more question... Having restarted my windows support game a couple times now, because I did not see Fuel 20 in the upcoming gifting options. Is this a mistake on my part? Does gifting option of "fuel 20" ALWAYS show up when you hit level 10? It was my understanding that it is sort of random if you have that by level 10.

Anyways I am starting another support game now. hope you get it up to level this morning.

thanks!

Yes it's random.
Fuel20 and Passengers10 share same slot. If you have one , you can't have the other. If you can see Passengers10 then you need to re-roll a new account.

Once you hit the level where you can send gifts (3 or 5?), you can look at your entire gift list. No Fuel 20? Discard the game and start a fresh one.
Unless you're really in the hunt for passenger 10...

How to setup fuel account(s) on Windows10:
These days many fuel ring accounts lost their F20 gifts and many ring members consider how to continue their games. As some of the fuel supports were used for other purposes as well (like I used my games for launch support either) some would not like to abandon their high-level games.
One option would be to create multiple accounts on your Win10 PC and to install games there. I even decided not to delete (at least some of the) P10 games as with the next gift list change they will get F20. Ideal case would be that for e.g. 2 fuel support accounts you open 4 Win accounts and install 2 P10 and 2 F20 games - so at each gift list update you will have 2 F20 games ready to play.
So what should be done:
You enter your PC and login to an account with administrative rights (if this is your own PC, your account should be such; if it is your office laptop, you might not have administrative rights on your account and you can't do anything more).
Press Windows button in the bottom left corner (the one with 4 tiles)
Press Settings - second icon above the Windows button (a gearwheel)
Select Accounts
Select Other people
Press the "+ Add someone else to this PC"
a new window pops-up
Select "I don't have this person's sign-in information"
you see "Let's create your account" window
Select "Add a user without a Microsoft account" at the bottom of the window
you see "Create an account for this PC" window
you enter account name, password, password again and password hint
And if you've done everything correctly, you should have created a new account

You repeat the above process as many times as you wish and then shut down your computer

Logging-in for first time in a new account you might need to press ESC, then to select in the bottom left corner of the screen the non-Microsoft (blue) Other User icon, then to select in the middle of the page Computer Only Logon, username should be computer_name"\"account_name and your password.

And if I explained everything correctly and you have done it exactly the way I described it, you will enter your new account and will be able to install AC from Windows Store and to enjoy your new support game.

now you need to have few fuel rings and few backup passengers rings. And if it goes to switch of fuel\pass just play the other part.
I envy to all of you who are handling more then one account. :)

I started 5 new games on different devices and all of them gift 10 pax, no F20. Am I just unlucky or do all new games now start with pax?
You're just unlucky. Everyone in my fuel ring is having to spin up new fuel support games this month, and they all seem to have gotten f20 sooner or later. I got lucky and got f20 on my first try. (When I set up the original account it took about 4 tries.)

By the way, speaking of fuel rings...the Flying Monkey Fuel Ring has openings for 2 players right now. If anyone's interested, send me a direct message.
