Thanks for the laptops. Now all the town hall needs is money. I just realized that building a flight caterer first will help me accumulate more meals for when I need them.

Thus, flight catering in a week, I think (assuming 2 defrosters come). Then earnest saving for the town hall. Then use up my population again buying industry. Then start buying maps again.

@jimstreet - If you wish to start launches with only small points, you can do that. However, maintaining your place would be difficult, unless you opened it and loaded it for a while before announcing it. But if you're doing that and someone preps for a launch, they can join it and mess up your plan.

@Captain WH Rollins has a weekly green launch on Fridays. The only fuel allowed is everything from Large fuel tank down. In other words, Additional Stabilizer, Explosive Bolt, Solid Fuel and Small Fuel tank and the one you pay for. This launch cooks for 23 hours or so, and then launches. There is a thread about it in the Airport Chat forum I believe, or you can PM the good Capt. and ask him about it.

Also, believe it or not, if you end up getting into a lot of QL parties down the road, those small items can go real quick. I went from a large supply of smaller stuff to virtually nothing in the span of 2 QL parties on consecutive weekends (Except for Solid Fuel, which never runs out).

Whatever way you choose is fine, as long as it meets your needs. There are just some things that are beyond our control that can occur with those types of launches. Depending on how you go about it.

Great thoughts here. I now have two easy strategies I can live with until I get overloaded on pricey supplies.

I made three purchases - the first two came without the gift - I have a ticket in about that - but the third one just now delivered. There is nothing in the offer that restricts the number of qualifying purchases nor any minimum spend per purchase. If someone buys the minimum amound 5 times they should get 5 squares - simple as!

It's a condition which happens to the best of us, good neighbour. I often have these moments, I find a cocktail shaker and a martini class often helps with the kipping ..... I mean skipping

@Cosmic Blue and @Wasted Eagle ; I owe the two of you as i ran out of gifts from !KB2 today.
Therefore tomorrow I will start with the bottom of my list and work my way to the top.

Good strategy. Just a small spoiler: you'll eventually need a couple of thousand flight catering to complete all flights that need catering up to now.

May want to read up on building requirements for Flight Catering Facility, though...
Should be a quick fix, we all have one of the items...

My early mornings neighbours plunder brought in 19,300 coins and 18 launch ready blue chests, of which 8 were high valued resource items. My neighbours 20 gifts for today, Thursday 19th May, have been gifted. My thanks to all of my neighbours for the gifts.

Spaceship Launches: Using Up Smaller Resource Items

The next green launch, in this series of flights, takes place tomorrow Friday 20th May at 5.00pm GMT London time. The launch will be opened by @Harcourt (Harc-Support account) and will remain open for 24 hours or until the fuel gauge becomes full, whichever of the two takes place first.

If your planning on taking part I would ask you to only use the following four small resource items, Small Fuel Tank (6 points - 30 minutes), Additional Stabilalizer (12 points - 2 hours), Explosive Bolt (24 points - 4 hours) and Solid Fuel (12 points - 2 hours). It is very easy to mis-click on the wrong resource and once clicked, can not be un-clicked, so please be very careful.

The minimum opening investment is 54 - the number of times you return to the launch, to invest more, is of course up to you and depends on your resources and the time period for each small resource item.

A QL can be used with these flights if a flyer wishes to do so. The use of a QL only speeds up the return flight for all those taking part, with no advantage being gained by the user.

Once the flight has returned I will update and post the Flyers League Table. I wish all flyers well and a successful launch flight.

Trading is complete from !KB and !KB2, although I know gifts received still trickle in throughout the day.
!KB2 will have in 2 hours + gotten his Specialist license in Shuttle missions thanks to @uyetti @Rainer and Rainer2 @ Bertje and @!angel as well as a QL contribution from !KB1
