Thanks WhatHappenedNow - really interesting as I have just connected fine with @Nicks and we are sending and receiving. looks like if there is a glitch, there becomes a block between two users. you have two chances to connect - once in each direction, and if both fail, you are then blocked. it is sooooh easy for them to fail - there are 3 or 4 active members of this forum who I just cannot connect with!

does anyone know what time they reset there clocks for gifts and visiting neighbors? Including time zone?

yenta613, I believe its 24 hours after the last time you started gifting. Everyone's time is different and changes based on when you gifted last. If you wait longer than 24 hours to gift, your 24 hours starts whenever you start gifting again. At least that is how it seems to work for me.
