Windows Receiving Gifts?

Does anyone else have a problem receiving gifts? You click on the "Take" button and nothing happens, you click on it a second time and the game freezes, you have to shut the game down and reload it, when you come back the gift has gone.

Sometimes there are intermittent network speed delays, such as neighbors collecting items or visiting certain buildings in your city while you are playing games
Or due to some adverse weather conditions, it may also affect internet speed

I've had the same and it is so annoying when it happens. I try not to click too many gifts at once until I know everything is stable!! - almost test with 1 gift first.

It happens right after I have opened/loaded the game, I wait for a while because it's got a lot to load, but it still happens. That's the annoying part, you'd think just having been opened, it wouldn't have any issues, but no you have to shut it down and start again!

You have to give it a warm-up. I click on a few planes or some buildings. Then I visit Madlen, then I collect gifts, then I visit Madlen again. Works every time.

I was wondering if anyone else still visited Madlen on a daily basis. It is habit for me, never logoff without a visit to Madlen.

I don't usually visit her unless a plane gets stuck on the runway, maybe that's why my game keeps freezing up she's feeling neglected

The same confusion as you: In June, there were usually several typhoon weather events in the area where I lived, and the same problem occurred many times in the game.
I would use the method of closing the game and reopening it a few minutes later

Always, especially before looking to join a launch as it gives a better list of available launches. Often there will be none available, visit Madlen and 3 are there. I always look to be in a launch so yes, that will be daily.
