Theory: all the people who did do the update are hard to visit?
The problem is not the person who is visiting but the person who is visited?

Could explain Suresh problem. Suresh hasn't updated so he should be easy to visit...... If the theory is correct.

Can anyone verify the theory?

flip123 Tried to verify your theroy. Here is my observation:

I visited 8 neighbours today. It took me full 45 min to do that!!!
tdv (TDVCrapple2) No issues
A380 No issues
jimmy21 Took me around 5 min to visit
Sophie (No gift pls) No issue
Bali Hi (Bali Hi) Took me more than 11 min.
My default neighbour: No issue
mel (meli2) No issue
air canillas I lost count!!!! 25 min and 6 error message later i was finally able to visit .

I lost the guts to try one more and finished my testing .

So i ( still on santa mission version) is also facing the same issue like everyone else who updated. And also the issue is with particular person not every neighbour. Seems like GI have done something horribly wrong

Bali Hi is on AC ver 1.82, running on Samsung Tab 8.9, Android Honeycomb.

Currently, I take about 20 minutes to load the game (usually require 2 clicks on system error message so that it would "wait" for game to load).

And I did see Suresh's visiting icon this morning.

flip123 I do agree. Age of the game with the new update is playing havoc while visiting!! This theory will be fully-confirmed if someone visits tdv (TDV4) account or Aero airport

BTW did anyone of you encounter any problem while visiting my city ? I am still on santa version and i started playing towards the end of halloween mission. So my airporty is relatively new

I think I'll stay not updated, about everything I read here, it would be the best way although it means no new mission challange.
I had also problems visiting people who obvious updated already - it took a long time before their airport was loaded...

The loadtime is normal again!
Neighbours can be visited again. Usernames not been fixed

Rest needs to be checked more, so update and continue the mission!

I wouldn't consider not being able to launch a rocket only 1% of the problem...
I enjoyed doing space races, but it has been more than a month since my last rocket launch!
I wish they would fix this major (for me) problem.
But I am glad I don't have to wait 20 minutes to load the game.

Since any of the "updates" has anyone clicked on any of the Santa's Bad day buildings? Like the Ice Castle, Skating Rink, or Santa's House and gotten anything besides coins or passengers? Seems like i used to get more of those items before the updates started, even after the event had passed.

Wonder if they lowered the drop rate or removed those items from the drop table altogether...?

One Bad Day I haven't received a single drop from any of the santa building since the mission ended Exception is 'Christmas gift shop' which do often drops gift. Except for the christmas tree all the building is occupying valuable real estate in my airport with no real benefit

That's because they all stopped dropping items as soon as the mission finished (if you click on the parts in the collection they all say collectible, no list of buildings to get them from), apart from the cgs as you say, I sold all mine a while back as they're pretty useless

Also, is anyone else having launch problems that have surfaced in the last 8 hours (I know many of you already have launch problems) I started a launch last night was at about 1000 points when I went to sleep (courtesy of "must dash" I think), and this morning it won't let me bring up the launch screen

Well, i don't see how they're "useless" they still give coins or passengers and they add nice "flavor" to your city. All returns are comprable to other buildings of the same size....I think i'll keep mine anyway. The Ice Castle looks awesome.

Did we launch, or waste a running wild collection? The rocket is on the launch pad, but I can't access anything else to do with it.
