I fully agree. Great performer but a pain for passengers. sooo noisy compared to a A330/340..

Yep my biggest gripe with the 777 is the noise! Also once experienced EK 10 across in WHY (as WHY am I forced to fly in Y ) and vowed never to do 10 across on a 777 again.
A340-500 perfect asthetically proportioned aircraft, A380 is simply fugly but a marvel to fly in.
747 remains majestic even now, take a look at Lufthansa's special 747-8 website
RJ's honestly if the US knew how to run a transport system there really would not be a market at all for them

Only if there are poor fleet management decisions to sell her before the end of economic life as a passenger airliner.
Most passengers would not care or even know what type of aircraft they are flying in....but I like some select others do

Rather a lot of people know about the special Alaska Airlines livery " salmon thirty salmon" a 737 with a big fish. The 2nd edition was shown to the public in early october:

About 2 or 3 summers ago one of our 320s also had a fish strike into Corfu (CFU). The runway is built on reclaimed land in a lagoon such that the end of the runway is about 5-10 meteres from the water. Short final onto runway 35 is low over part of this lagoon. A seabird had just caught its supper and was flying away when the plane scared it. bird drops fish that went through the 'cold' section of the engine. luckily no damage caused, but a delay while the fan blades cleaned and checked.
Again passengers didn't believe it.
