Thank you very much for the kind words. Although the game has advanced alot since I first started playing back in 2012, that is the very reason why I created the forum. There was no place really to go and find other players to swap gifts with to complete buildings or quests.

@Bob69bob , just found out, only one group owner per group.

I'm not too sure about the moderators being able to add/delete members. I shall begin testing next week and hopefully roll it out soon after. I can then answer such questions about group moderators. (y)

In theory they can be moved over to your new group when it's been setup. Ideally they should then be kept locked and only referred to as reference as you will be able to create new threads in the group.

So far the feedback seems to be promising. I shall leave this till next week and see if there are any other comments, questions or objections and take it from there. Need to make sure everyone that uses Area 51 gets a chance to see this. (y)

How do you mean @Bob69bob ? There would be no ownership rights of the thread, just of the group. Only the people inside the group would be able to see and post threads.

The group owner can appoint their own group moderators and they all have full control of the threads and content - Eg deleting :)

If you run or use a Private Thread in this section of the forum, can I kindly ask you to take a look at the thread below. A new way of working in this section of the forum is being discussed which should hopefully be a huge benefit to you all...

Exactly that! I think moving to groups would make things a lot easier for those that currently run a Private Thread and those that use a Private Thread. I want to see what people think of the idea first. If they are all like yours, then it looks like the idea will go ahead! However want to...

Since Private Threads were added to the forum many years ago, they have been a huge success. A great way for Fuel Rings/Alliances and many more to keep their content limited to who they want to see it. Infact, I was so much of a success, some of the threads are currently running at over 5,000...

Only option is to really visit the forum home page and click on button marked 1 in the first post. That will 'pop' the chat into a small window for you, so you can see it where ever you browse.

First of all, I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone that reports a spam post on the forum. Luckily these are few and far between. Some weeks we may have a couple, some weeks we have none. Anyone that runs a site will know how much spammers and spam bots are the bain of an admins life...
