See the following message from AC support -

"According to the latest check of the game algorithms, the option of receiving Airport Cash from cars was disabled, and at the moment, only coins and shovels can be obtained. I understand that the situation with Airport Cash can be frustrating, and I will forward your comments to our team.
Should you come across any other concerns, just write me back. Have a good day!"

So no point clicking on cars expecting greenies...............

Yup, just got similar - so they are getting multiple queries being raised!

I noticed right after the "update" that they had been disabled. So....I stopped playing the game as well. We will see how they intend to compensate us after this.

what is the purpose of this game for long-time players? To get greenies? Now GI took that away from players. GI stole it. And they done it at XMAS, at the time where in the Christian (cathloic, protestant, ortodox, or what ever) world given is the thing. Okay. Clear for GI everything is only about money. NO NEW DESTINATIONS since a long time. NO NEW EVENTS since a long time. and now that: only a very poor style from GI.

This year has been difficult, so choose to be more tolerant. After all, The game company that wants to make money and survive.
In this aspect, we are just like ordinary people

paid cash for those 4 level buildings over the last 4 to 5 previous years, paid even more money for needed items to upgrade all to level 3 which was the highest level until GI changed it to level 4 this year hence screwing over players grandfathered in

When the Celestial Festival special event became available in September I managed to click and collect enough green notes to purchase 3 plots of land. This I had undertaken in a relaxed and leisurely manner across a few days. Had I been prepared to increase my car clicking across 12 consecutive days I could have collected a good few hundred green notes. Having reached my set target I stopped clicking cars.

The fact that it is now not possible to click and collect green notes during the Winter Dream special event comes as no real surprise. I have been expecting this for sometime. From Game Insights perspective it is quite understandable why they would do this, but not a wise move long term. It would be good to see Game Insight reverse their decision, and make green notes available once again, but I very much doubt they will do this.

Will be interesting to see if next time it is available for a short period- say 3 days again, or if it is not going to reappear. Time will tell?

Ot is greedy and a bad decision to take away that possibility to earn greenies. When you click for greenies you spend a lot of time in the game and use more fuel om flights. It also increases interest in the game. It is not a god idea to make people disappointed and lose interest and confidence in the game. It is hard enough to get greenies and for my part I feel less prompted yo spend money on events and other purchases when they change conditions to the worse.

I was very hopeful when they started to tweak events, even if it was not necessarily to the better, but it was an effort. Also optimistic when the reintroduced the casino. Now I'm beginning to lose faith in the development and I am very reluctant when it comes to spending real money.

This game became just about paying for everything... I never spent a dime playing it for years reaching level 81 and 688 stars... so, for sure I wont be spending any real money at this point, better option would be to leave this game and the greedines of it's creators

Turn on the TV once in a while, catch up with the latest news, the world has changed since 2012. Having money to spend on a computer game is a luxury these days, it goes instead towards paying the bills, putting food on the table, and looking after loved ones. You can advertise 1000 x greenies for $50 NZ, but if you haven’t got the $50 to spend in the first place, it all seems rather pointless, especially at Christmas time when people have enough hardships anyway. G! is no different, it’s a company trying to survive, getting something for nothing is a rarity these days!

P.S.
They don't make money, to pay the bills, for people to put food on the table, or look after loved ones by giving it away!!
