Windows UPDATE - Back up didn't work!!! My game broke, had to reset back to 21st Jan

Hey gang - our internet went down here, and my system went onto mobile data for a period. During this time, the update came through on the game, but the bandwidth ws not sufficient for it to complete. Since we got internet back, the game has stuck in a loop on the loading screen.

I have had to uninstall and install it, but I was able to restore my data from a backup I did 21st Jan. Everything that was online - so my neighbours and alliance stuff, is all up to date, but the data held on the PC has gone back 2 week. This does mean I have lost all the fuel acquired during the last event, but losing 2 weeks is better than losing everything!

If you have gifted me or anything today, I may not know about it and thus may not be able to return it. Really sorry, but please let me know and I will ad you to my list. Luckily I had gifted ane done my daily visits about an hour before we lost internet!

So, although the reset to 21st Jan looked like it had worked, I could
join space launchsbut not add anything! Contacted GI and got a slap on the writst for trying to restore a backup - there response ie below. I have done what they say and am now waiting for GI to properly reset me ha ha! Couldn't gift tonight, sorry.

Using local backups to save and restore game progress is prohibited under our Terms and Conditions of Use and can cause various technical issues. The message you see during space programs is a result of one of them, as the items you're trying to use are considered already spent. Therefore, our team strongly recommends against using this method of progress recovery.

Reinstalling the game correctly might resolve the issue affecting space programs. Please do the following:
1. Completely uninstall the game and download it again from the Microsoft Store using the same Microsoft account.
2. Reach level 3 in the new game and share your new Support ID if your progress hasn't been loaded automatically from the server.
Knowing your new Support ID will enable me to manually load your progress from our database.

I did wonder why the land (where you had your space launch pads) was L shaped one week, then went back to being in a straight line the next, I thought you must of found a new way to reposition land squares
