We know how much we depend on neighbour's who have Planetariums, Training Centres and Astronaut Academies for space launches. These buildings are not now easy (or cheap) to obtain. In time, the number of players who have these must diminish (we all gotta die sometime...). Then, where will we get our space launch items?

I am not a fan of events - I find them a distraction BUT I feel obliged to take part just in case the buildings I acquire become the important "space launch item collection" buildings of the future.

Any info out there on this - any thoughts?

Not sure buildings change use. The only change ive seen is drops from mints casinos and banks, got migrated to other buildings to make them available to more people.

If you don't want event buildings, don't do events. You're not alone there are lots of people who don't. You only miss out on the building being offered not future space drop buildings.

Thanks for that - I guess I'm really asking, what will be the new space drop buildings once there are few or no more players with planetariums etc. Because the number of players with these buildings will surely reduce.

Remember that Rocket Gardens (your own), MCCs (neighbours) and Launch Pads (neighbours) also give the same drops alas with a reduced rate.

They are more likely to reintroduce the possibility of getting the 3 from an event, than change an existing building. My opinion.

You can still get all of those buildings right now if you’re prepared to spend a lot of greenies. They’re all in the lucky dip Mystery Super Building sets (currently 4 different collections) available all the time in the store (under the chest icon - second last up the top). However, at 99 greenies each, it’s very expensive considering most people really only want one building type from each set. Usually, once a year they go on a mega sale at around 70-80% off (can’t remember exactly) it doesn’t matter if some people don’t think it’s worth it, a huge portion of players have been waiting all year for it to happen and it turns into a feeding frenzy with new buildings popping up all over the place .

I assume that no new buildings will be introduced to complement existing launch needs. If a new space mission (Mars has been thrown around for a long time) is developed, I’m guessing it’ll have its own shiny new buildings to lighten the load in our purses/wallets. I would also guess that if those buildings were to be part of an event award, it will be made quite obvious that they will have a quite different, long term purpose which is different to what gets awarded in almost all of the previous events.
