Tree cutting reducing the birds nests?

One wonders if me being a diligent tree cutter - in quest to progress in "I've Sharpened My Ax" is hurting current event collection. In the 'What Women Want' collection, I currently have at least 3 of each of the 1st 4 rings, but no "Bird's Nest". The lack of trees causing the birds to fly away?

And tree cutting does not appear to me to be providing any drops either.

But it is a matter of where the birds will build their 'bird nest' ring.

The title of the collection hints to me that the drops are probably the most random of any collection in the game. It doesn’t matter what item drops, my first thought will always be, “but do they really?” 😉
