Tecmage yes you have to add some one before you xan send them gifts, and when you have added someone tag them (put a @ in front of their name) that way they know who you are and that your from this forum

Yes, you can only send gifts to your neighbours. Most importantly, you can only get gifts from your neighbours!!.
So no gifts if you have no neighbours!!! No visiting neighbour airports either.

You can add neighbours by entering their unique code in the "Friend code" tab,
clicking on Green "tick" button on "add" neighbour tab,
or by accepting friend requests in the "Waiting" tab.
