I started a thread on building buff square on budget and also on max ( subway stations at 10% each and no road requirement ).

Focus on high valued building on the spreadsheet for best result. For budget, nothing beats Brick House (can get on sale only) at 6AC each.

If you played last event, the Movie Palace was the most important building you can get at 5% and range of 3.

Show me your buff (magic) square.

I started on buff square related spread sheet. On the side, Best small foot print buff square and starter (zero AC or cash) buff square. Surprizingly, it achieves 80% with few coins. However it takes up whopping 4 expansions. I've added initial weight on the variables to create worth value...

Look at the total size of land and number of pax producing building I have. I was able to place 1st on last event with this. Currently the buff square is at 202%. Green Emerald House that produces 99pax now does more than 300pax. I speed up Emerald House when there are no collectible pax from buildings. That is over 3000pax in about 1 hour from one building.

Condo is nice at 190pax but that requires 3x3 so not going to get that. But I will get Acute House for 102pax which is slightly better than EH.

Here is the latest shopping list based on value. Movie Palace ranks higher than Cloud Castle due to smaller foot print.

I was lucky to get the Movie Palace from the most recent event.

Doesn't it get really tedious having to move each building in and out of the magic square each time you wan't to collect the passengers?

It depends. It makes sense for Apartments Hotel, for example. With a 385% (max is 414% I think) bonus in Magic Square, the gain is 1455 instead of 300 px from one building House of Disturbance every morning (20h period) are great - 2500px from 6 buildings etc.

Swapping out all Shopping Malls for Volcano House thereby adds an additional 6 so 420%.
Swapping out all Skiing Facility for Archaeological Camp thereby adds an additional 24 so 444% or leave top right for 445%.
