600,000 Gold Coins is not a great deal of money, if your game is well developed, in terms of your space program, commerce buildings, airplanes and bonus's (Golden Toad, Inconvertible Coin, Tourist Visa, Sky Captain etc.) Also the building items required (Rotor Balancer x3, Platform Scale x3, Assembly Jig x3) to make the structure solid and live.Yes, but that only reduces the chance of a breakdown by 90%, be just my luck it still breaks down anyway
I'm just over a third of the way to 600,000, it's a slow process but I'm getting there
My little city only consists of 80 land squares, probably a little more on the commercial district side than the space/helicopter side. I could probably fit more buildings in if I didn't have roads that actually go somewhere, but I like my city the way it is. I'm a bit of a perfectionist, my city has to be symmetrical.

You have to consider each game, especially when playing the game for the thrid or fourth season (or more). Current event I have 3 destinations to 3 star, BUT I have an alliance mission this week that I have been waiting for. I am not going to divert planes to the event when I could 3 star an alliance destination. So I have 10 planes on the alliance destination, and I am chipping away at the event with just 4. Probably won't complete the event. I didn't complete the last event, there are plenty of other things to do in the game besides events

This game is very broad and very deep, so easy to spread yourself thin across all aspects of the game. More so, as you progress through the game levels. I had a chat to ralphy a few weeks ago, and it was mentioned that I shouldn't try to do everything all at the same time, because like you say you can spread yourself thin, but I think I am still doing that. I keep thinking to myself I have a huge mountain to climb (2 x level 9 runways, repair base h level 3 (which I am currently working on), I need to get myself a red launch pad so I can do lunar flights). I've got no idea where I am supposed to be at with my planes, how many I'm supposed to have or even what type. I have read and studied the wiki's, I've bookmarked quite a few of them in the browser, so I can go back and check the info. I try to upgrade things were possible, on top of everything else
