General Adventure flights strategy

I completed the event but still flying to Dashur and Giza to get stars. Since I now have a full fleet of Turboprops (sold all jets to make room for the event), I thought that after closing the event, I should start to tackle Adventure flights with that fleet. I read the guide about that and it help a lot but there's still some questions about the best strategy.

Each flight map last 6 hour and when I looked at each city, it also take 6 hours so I wonder what would be a good strategy to optimize each map use. What's your strategy ? Tips ?

vintage weathervane and fuel catalyst. With those bonuses and timely playing you can do 2-3 rounds per map. Other bonuses are good addition (dice, golden dice, sky capt). Drop rates are (my experience) from 0 - 7 per 12 planes. As This is cheaper flights (regarding fuel and passengers) use speed ups. Use 1 map to try to get up to 36 items. This is best use for one mao.

1. Calculate how many flights you wanna do. Let say 30. I always do 30.
2. Collect your fuel, to fly and fly back 30 flights.
3. Calculate and collect your passengers for 30 flights.
4. Prepare your repair items, depend on the plane u wanna use or greens for big planes.
5. Use bonus, I use golden dice and spy glass only.
6. Use 6 planes, fly them all, than land them all, than tap them all, not 1 by 1. To tap some planes give you a better chance of drop. Why 6? Ask GI why the building limit is 6. I just use that number.

So, this is why we should have some runways.
7. Luck and Good Luck.

Stock up on fuel and passengers. I'm planning those flights on iWasted as well.
You can get an insane amount of fuel through space flights and gifting, so that's not the issue.
Passengers, that's key. It's pretty much key throughout the game.:D
Raise your terminal as high as you can and make sure you have lots residential buildings ready to tap!
Good luck!

That's where bonuses like alarm clock and family ticket hops in.

Their cost/effect is rather low with 8 greens. Especially on lower level games with fewer passenger output and smaller terminal (like my iOS game).
But after the casino has been installed, I know there will be options! :D;)
I'm not using greenies for that - I buy one mystery bonus chest every time duke is in (for 8k coins). Also you can get chest from casino/bank/mint collections - items also drops from adventure buildings.

Yesterday after work, I decided to tackle adventure flight but did a stupid error, which is fortunately recovered.

At first, since I didn't have a map to Machu Picchu, I decided to activate Vintage Weathervane to accelerate flights to Excavations: Mesoamerica thinking that a single map I bought will stay active for 6h then I realized it isn't the case and those maps are being used like Landing Lamp. So my strategy didn't really work so I bought Spyglass and Golden Dice then returned those flights with fuel trying to get some map chests. After 12 runs, I got 1 for Machu Picchu and 2 for Tollan.

With the Machu Picchu map on hand, i activated and that's where the strategy make sense. I ended up using my big fuel reserve and passengers to send out close to 150 flights (three starring in one go) within 2 hours I got 37 items (the extra one was from the last few planes still in up the air before going to bed). Too bad those flights doesn't count toward rankings as I would be ranked very high.

Now, I decided to use a better strategy and fly to collect maps ans try to 3-star the first one. I will buy maps from Duke each time he is available until I get the remaining 3 maps.

For example Mesoamerica - mesoamerica maps can be bought from Duke's shop. That map is one time only flight - from
Mesoamerica destination you can get drops - maps for additional 5 destinations - Tollan, Machu Pichu, Technotichuan, and 2 more I cannot remember now. Each of this 5 destinations can drop 1 item. (with 5 destinations you get 5 different items and they provide you with 1 collection). Goal of 36 each item is reffering to adventure buildings - as your city can have only 6 of those buildings and you need 6 of above mentioned collection - brings us to total of 36 items from each destination). Each map lasts for 6 hours (with Spirit of adventure bonus it can be prolonged to 18h in total - but thats another story). Within that 6 hours you can do as many flights you can - planes lifted before map expire also count).

Bonuses - Golden dice, dice, sky captain - you v+can add business class just to grab some more coins.

Initial map is good for 1 flight - map get as drop from this initial destination last for 6 hours.
For example for Mesoamerica and partially Ancient Rome - I was doing instant flight/return - That requires a lot of passengers. Later I switch the strategy and flew 12 planes of the same kind with additional bonuses (vintage weathervane and fuel catalyst). This option allowed me 36 flights per map - S1, S2, S3 planes can even increase that to 48/60 flight per map but they have tendencies to get broken and only basic plane can be repaired with items (all S1, S2 and S3 require either time or greenies).

My suggestion is to start with Mesoamerica - I don't know if you ever purchase maps from Duke's - but my advice would be to buy 5 maps each time for destinations planned (I'd say around 100). When you get 100 - turn on bonuses and do as many flights you can - that flight require - 36 or 38 passengers and 60 fuel for takeoff/ instant retun - so total of 6000 fuel and 3800 passengers.

Regarding number of passengers building - I even now have all short production buildings - nothing more then 4h turnaround have good impact - except those huge 300 pass building with recovery rate for 2 days. (here with some bonuses and trees around i have 500 initial drop (with family ticket 1000 per building).

That's why they are listed under "items" and not "maps". Game engine sees them for what they are, not how confusingly they are named.

Yes, I know that now but fortunatly recovered as I got a map to Machu Picchu pretty quickly. Right now, i just need 2 flights to get 3 stars on Excavations: Mesoamerica and will do a run on Tollan this evening (collected enough fuel and passengers for that) with bonuses.
