The other sections of the forum such as Amazon, Facebook, Off Topic Chat, New Members etc will still remain. Its just a revamp of the main sections.

Not really. Lollipop still has a huge amount of usage out there, not too far behind Marshmallow. Even Kitkat it only 2% behind Marshmallow.

Stella, are you able to either download Google Chrome broswer from the Play Store if its not already installed and try with that? Speaking to the developers of the forum theme and they are also unable to replicate the issue at present.
