Lacking: - front stairs - balcony on top floor - spire on central tower - little eyelet windows on tops of corner towers Could be it was an inspiration, but as you just posted, they are generally so good with details. Definitely my top contender though. Keeping it in the wings.

@Chloe11111 Boo-yah! You nailed it earlier (just the wrong castle)! Castle Rock = Chateau de Noisy (Chateau Miranda) in Belgium. (Apparently people do put turrets on a tower that obstruct the view)

Yes. The 4 turrets on the tower and the clock of the main castle are really the only things that match Castle Rock. I keep thinking that it is fictional/Disney-esque (or built by a billionaire who wanted a castle) because the whole building is architecturally a hot mess. Who the heck puts 4...

I thought of those for the Black Queen's Castle. However, the Chateau Miranda does not have the right roof for the tower (not elongated), and no match to outer buildings/gate. The Cochem Castle has the elongated roofline for the tower, plus the spires, but nothing else matches. I keep thinking...
