I was thinking that they have so many platforms, it must be hard to update and address bugs on all of them. Much more efficient to downsize so they can work on new features in the game.

It is not a bug. It was an intentional change.

I have put this information on the Dark Ritual wiki page, and in the Guide section of the Dark Skies wiki page. Moral of the story, make sure you have plenty of traps before using Dark Ritual.

I was told it is "for the foreseeable future". Furthermore, they are encouraging players to switch to a different platform. I am interpreting "foreseeable future" as a very long time, if not indefinitely.

Previously, the Black Wraiths would remain in the city until they were banished. They are only replaced with White Phantoms after they are banished and if the Dark Ritual bonus has run out.

The G! Desktop platform has not received the latest update and is not expected to receive further updates in the foreseeable future. This platform does not have events now.

I never uninstall anything. I just download the update through the Microsoft Store.

Welcome to the forum! The Casino was on sale for real-world money earlier this year. The others haven't been on sale in many years. You can always look at the buildings in the wiki to see where to obtain them if you have more questions about that for other building types.

New update is out for all platforms except Web and G! Desktop. Windows users need to download update through Microsoft Store. I haven't seen anything new, but post here if you spot anything different.
