I speed up immediately after take off and i was using only one plane (reason why i needed a lot of repair items). I was also short on numbers of maps. Got 36 drops from Tollan with only 3 maps. In theory only one is enough as long as you have enough fuel and passengers.

sacrifice one jet plane for one turboprop (at least for the time you need it). I switched jet\turbo several times. Lost of coins is 12000 which you easily can gather in few hours of gameplay.

I bought mesoamerica maps from Duke 10 each time for coins. Then fly with turboprop (sometimes they drop maps for those locations - Machu Pichu, Tollan, Quetz. Temple, Technoticuan and one more. Then I used those maps. Map last 6 hours. Flight time is also 6 hours so if you are speeding...

As promised this is how I got all collection needed for pyramids. For preparation you need to gather as much fuel as you can. I usually started one round when I got 6-8K of fuel. Keep in mind that for one flight you need 60 fuel (for turboprop-takeoff and speed return) and 72 for jet plane...

Same issue was few days ago on wp. They are doing something with the servers. My assumption is that they are testing updates (maybe even joined game for both windows platform)

Then my "project Pyramid" is done. 5th and 6th are in building process. Costs are gathered fuel and passengers and 16 greenies for 4 rounds of golden dice. Next task is Space needles. I'm half way to get all the needed items for 6 of them.
