As I mentioned few times, looks like old games are full of different issues/problems/bugs. I think best solution is for all old accounts to agree with GI to start new game and to have new code with all items transferred to new game.

It's always worth trying - i don't know if it works on other platforms as i don't play on them but my assumption would be that it should work on all platforms who changed codes after the update.

I think it's the memory issue. Game is using big amounts of memory and with every update problem is bigger and bigger. Issue is more often on older devices on all platforms.
