The user guide has been written for those of you who have reached Game Level 81 and are now planning on upgrading your Terminal Level 12 building to Terminal Level 13. The undertaking of this task will be in Three Stages, you will be able to undertake the First Stage and Second Stage together, this will save you a considerable amount of game play time. The Third Stage will stand alone after you have completed the first two stages.
To purchase the building you will need to spend 15,000,000 Gold Coins (Stage One), you will need to collect 360 Additional Building Items (Stage Two) and you will need to wait 28 Days Construction (Stage Three) before the building becomes solid and live. The new building will increase the maximum number of passengers by 300 and will set the base terminal capacity to 2,000 passengers.
The following fourteen subjects are covered in this user guide, Condor Flight Data, Terminal Level 13 Building Data, Advance Planning, Standard Class Condor Airplanes, Spending Gold Coins, Additional Building Items, Game Bonuses, Airplane Passengers, Airplane Fuel, Airplane Flight Items, Neighbours, Spending Green Notes, Comparing Terminal 13 and 12 Buildings, Conclusion.
CONDOR FLIGHT DATA
TERMINAL LEVEL 13 BUILDING DATA
ADVANCE PLANNING
It will be essential to plan and prepare in advance rather than wait until you reach Game Level 81 with regards to collecting Gold Coins. There is unfortunately nothing that you can do about the Additional Building Items, they will not become available to collect until you have reached the required game level. Only then will it become available to collect the item drops.
STANDARD CLASS CONDOR AIRPLANES
You will need a number of Condor Airplanes in your fleet to undertake the four flight destinations Budapest, Kansas City, Kuala Lumpur, New Orleans. Each airplane will cost you 1,500,00 Gold Coins, they can be purchased through the Operative Hangar via the Shop. You will need to be on Game Level 71 for the airplanes to become available to purchase, they will be Standard Class airplanes, the flight time will be 12 hours 20 minutes for each of the four destinations.
Additional Information - the S1 Class airplanes can only be purchased with Silver and Gold Tokens, they fly at increased speeds of 10%. The S2 Class airplanes can only be purchased with Silver and Gold Tokens, they will only be available to forum members who are part of an Alliance Group, they fly at increased speeds of 30%. The S3 Class airplanes can not be purchased with Gold Coins, Gold and Silver Tokens, they can only be obtained through the completion of alliance flight collections, they fly at increased speeds of 40%.
SPENDING GOLD COINS
The 15,000,000 Gold Coins purchase price is quite an undertaking but not impossible to reach, there are quite a number of forum members who have done so already. It is possible that some players will have had sufficient funds to undertake the purchase long before they reached game level 81. If this is the case, then they will have completed stage one of the task. It also means you will not be able to spend any gold coins on other aspects of your game, buying Residential, Commercial, Industrial buildings, buying Airplanes and Helicopters during the gold coin collection period.
You will be able to obtain gold coins through a number of game outlets, completing Airplane and Helicopter Flight Destinations, completing Flight Collections, completing Space Program Flights (Lunar Mission Red Shuttle 20,000 gold coins, Prometheus Mission Blue Rocket 10,000 gold coins, Apogee Mission Green Rocket 6,000 gold coins), collecting from Commercial Buildings, through the Twenty Six Special Events (Basic Class Pass Ticket and Premium Class Pass Ticket) and by Landing Guest Airplanes (small amounts of gold coins, experience points, fuel, passengers) at your airport.
You will also be able to earn yourself further gold coins by selling off your surplus buildings, both Residential and Commercial, which will be stored in your Warehouse. This option will only become available to you during long term game play, when you have amassed more buildings of each type, than you are able to make use of in your game, because you will be limited to a maximum of six buildings of each type. For detailed information as to how much you will earn from building sales, you will need to read through the user guide, How To Sell Your Surplus Warehouse Buildings And How To Move Your Buildings Into Warehouse www.airportcitygame.com/threads/how-to-sell-your-surplus-warehouse-buildings-and-how-to-move-your-buildings-into-the-warehouse.28737
ADDITIONAL BUILDING ITEMS
You will need to collect the following four set drop items Thermographic Scanner x90, Spectrometer x90, Service Elevator x90, Charging Station x90, in order to make the Terminal Level 13 building solid and live. These items will 'seldom' drop from the following four flight destinations Budapest, Kansas City, Kuala Lumpur, New Orleans a total of 360 drop items.
GAME BONUSES
There is a broad spectrum of game bonuses that you can activate to improve the flight drop rate and increase your gold coins income from airplanes and buildings. The bonuses can be accessed via the Bonus Click Button located on the right hand side of your game screen. When selected the bonus menu will appear on the screen, the menu has six options along the top row of the menu, All, Airplanes, Helicopters, Buildings, Fuel, Passengers. How many bonuses you will have available will be determined by a number of game factors e.g. can be obtained by completing a number of Flight Collections. You will need to activate all the bonuses before you launch any of your Condor airplanes, in order for the bonuses to apply.
AIRPLANE PASSENGERS
For every Condor airplane you plan to launch you will need 750 Passengers, which means you will need a very large number of Residential Buildings in your city to meet your needs. It will be important to have the residential buildings already in place. The passengers can be gifted to you by your neighbours, can be obtained from Guest Airplanes landing at your airport and from your Neighbours Residential Buildings. It will be a good idea to keep a close watch on the passenger display counter (Orange Suitcase) located along the top row of your game screen.
There are five passenger sets available Passengers 5 (Neighbour Gift), Passengers 10 (Rookie Pilot Set, Small Bronze Alliance Chest), Passengers 50 (Bonus Chest, Gift Set, Large Gift Set, Mystery Set, Bronze Space Chest, Large Bronze Alliance Chest, Medium Bronze Alliance Chest), Passengers 150 (Gift Set, Large Gift Set, Mystery Set, Silver Space Chest, Silver Alliance Chest), Passengers 300 (Golden Space Chest, Golden Alliance Chest Premium Set).
AIRPLANE FUEL
For every Condor airplane you plan to launch you will need 60 Units of Fuel. The fuel can be collected during game play by a number of methods and can also be gifted to you by your neighbours. It will be important you have a healthy supply of fuel otherwise you will struggle to launch your airplanes. You will be able to save a considerable amount of fuel by only flying Condor airplanes, the rest of the fleet will remain in their stands. You will also be able to join a dedicated Fuel Ring, a very popular way for players to obtain more fuel. It will be a good idea to keep a close watch on the fuel display counter (Black Barrel) located along the top row of your game screen.
There are six barrel sets available Fuel 3 Unit (Neighbour Gift), Fuel 10 Unit (Steel Chest), Fuel 20 Unit (Gift Set, Large Gift Set, Mystery Set, Medium Bronze Chest, Medium Bronze Alliance Chest, Small Bronze Chest, Small Bronze Alliance Chest, Silver Chest, Space Program), Fuel 50 Unit (Bonus Chest, Gift Set, Large Gift Set, Mystery Set, Rookie Pilot Set, Large Bronze Chest, Large Bronze Alliance Chest, Bronze Space Chest, Space Program), Fuel 150 Unit (Golden Chest, Master of the Universe, Master of the Universe 2, Space Conqueror 3, Silver Space Chest, Silver Alliance Chest), Fuel 300 Unit (Master of the Universe 3, Golden Space Chest, Golden Alliance Chest, Premium Set).
AIRPLANE FLIGHT ITEMS
For every Condor airplane in your fleet you will need VR Headset and Sleeping Pill in order to launch, they will become available from Game Level 71. These two items can be collected during game play by a number of methods, the VR Headset will drop from Macau Flights, Gift Set, Large Gift Set and Mystery Set. The Sleeping Pill will drop from the Pharmaceutical Lab (1,000,000 gold coins per building), Gift Set, Large Gift Set and Mystery Set. They can also be gifted to you by your neighbours. It will be important you have a healthy supply of both, otherwise you will not be able to undertake any flights. Your flight items will be stored in your Warehouse.
NEIGHBOURS
It will be important to have a good few hundred neighbours who will be able to gift the items that you require. They will need to be On or Close to your game level so they will have the gift items that you need. Above Game Level 71 will be essential with regards to the flight items. Your neighbours will need to be dependable, reliable and consistent when gifting. You will need to do the same in return for the relationships with your neighbours to work.
SPENDING GREEN NOTES
It will cost you 5 Green Notes per item drop (a total of 1,800 Green Notes) if you decide to buy some rather than collect them all from flights. How much you decide to spend will be for you to decide, it will be a question of what you can afford and what your priorities are with other aspects of your game. If you do decide to spend green notes, it will mean you will not be spending green notes elsewhere in your game, unless you are fortunate to have hundreds of green notes to spend.
COMPARING TERMINAL 13 AND 12 BUILDINGS
When you compare the two terminal buildings you will realise the gulf that exists between them is quite considerable. The purchase price increase is more than double and the drop items are excessive to say the least. The standout figure by far is the amount of green notes you will need to speed up construction of the terminal building. No player would ever entertain such a thought and then act on it, they would much rather wait for the 28 days construction period to end.
Terminal Level 13 - 15,000,000 Gold Coins - Construction Duration 28 Days
Drop Items Thermographic Scanner x90, Spectrometer x90, Service Elevator x90, Charging Station x90
Construction Speed Up 1,828 Green Notes
Terminal Level 12 - 5,000,000 Gold Coins - Construction Duration 14 Days
Drop Items Passport Scanner x20, Fire Alarm x20, Iris Scanner x20, Water Dispenser x20
Construction Speed Up 14 Green Notes
CONCLUSION
If you spend some time and study the Condor Flight Data you will realise the undertaking will be difficult to sustain long term with regards to Airplane Passengers (80,250), Airplane Fuel (6,420), Airplane Flight Items (214), Bonuses (67). I have to date undertaken 107 Condor flights and only 22 items have dropped from them. It is somewhat of a poor return for all the game resources that have been used so far, but it comes as no real surprise. It was never going to be a simple and straight forward process.
It is hard to say how many Condor flights will be needed, most likely a good few hundred, before all the items drops have been collected. There will eventually come a time when you will have no choice but to spend green notes and purchase a large proportion of the items required for the construction of the building. This will unfortunately be unavoidable, your patience will be tested and you will simply run out of patience.
The use of active bonuses has also proved to be disappointing with poor results, but not very surprising. When you launch five Condors with a series of active bonuses you will get 2, 1 or 0 item drops from the flights. When you launch five Condors with no active bonuses you will get 1 or 0 item drops from the flights. There is no significant difference between the two, active or non active.
