This game is starting to really get to me

The drop rates in this game are so frustratingly low. I have 4 farmers markets that I collect from regularly and have been visiting nothing but farmers markets in my neighbors cities, and haven't had a single drop for the Easter event. Been doing nothing but flights needed for missions and not a single drop. These low drop rates are making me want to flee the game and not purchase any greenies or other items. And the aircraft break down so much. If I ran an airline in real life and the planes broke down this much, I'd either get a new maintenance crew or buy planes from a different manufacture.

I start to think, this might be connected with City Population. If you are over-limits, drops are very very poor (means probably none!)

I have more then 1700 population from allowed 820... What about you, who also have problems with drops - how is your city population ?

Are we looking at all games loaded on a phone. I have completed on 2 games on ipad but on android on my phone, I only have 2,6,1,1,0 with 6 Farmers markets.

Gt city the drops on my android game are 0-2-3-0-2 and my population is 980/980.
Drops on iPad are 3-10-6-9-7 and my population is way over what is allowed - 2160/1590.
Neil ellor may have a point regarding the different devices?
Either way, we are running out of time to earn that rabbit hole! Oh well..... There's always next year!

This is a copy of my last message to GI :
It's been over a year since I play in Airport City, I love this game. Last year, I was not able Easter Quest. My markets have provided me with items throughout the year, except fresh vegetables.
I hoped that with the new quest, I would get these vegetables. However, it is not. Neither me, nor when I visit my neighbors.
How is it that, for 1 year, I've never had vegetables?
Thank you to intervene to change this setting.

There is always a chance to get the item dropped from flights though it might take you some time to receive it. Some items are harder to come by than others, but in general, sending a lot of planes to flights helps to get the stuff faster. Keep it up and I have no doubt you will succeed! I am on an Android tablet and I haven't had any drops from my markets in this season's event, well maybe one drop, but it was for an item I have already had. I have so many collections I am working onand building upgrades and doing flight after flight after flight and getting nothing dropped.

Well, Bali Hi did not complete it last year (rare item was Live Fish), but I collected Organic menu items from visit to neighbours' Farmer Markets throughout the year. This year, Bali Hi basically completed by default.

Bali2 started late, and also got some Organic Menu items from visit to neighbours throughout the year. In this year's quest, I actually managed to complete 2 collections in the first 2 days of the quest. After that it was pretty dry except for Dairy & Fruit which drops now and then.

My tally is 2 complete collection and 10-1-0-1-7.

On a bright note, I just got a Fresh Vegetable an hour ago, so maybe they will be dropping from today onwards!!

Guess i just got really lucky then. I was able to complete the Easter event on my iPad without building a Farmer's Market on my own land. I got all the collections (Organic Menux3) by visiting neighbors airports in 3 days of the beginning of the event this year.

When i did it on my Android device last year, i was 1 item (Fresh Vegetables) from completing the event.

It's also getting to me. For more than a month now, I've been flying to Baikonur/North/South Observatory, albeit only play once a day, and can only get 1 Lab Notebook. I've been so put off by this game. That, and also because I'm too busy these days..
