Huge numbers of weekly space mission

With the current event (Riding the Comet), I've seen people do over a thousand Apogee missions in a week! I am wondering how is that possible, since each start requires 4 collections to be completed as well as items for the start. Just insane amounts of flying to specific locations to complete the collections or are there other tricks to help with excessive amounts of rocket starts?

There are buildings you can visit in your own city and neighbor cities to get the collections. You can also use the Friend in Need and Secret Basement bonuses to make it rain items.

Thats very handy! Thanks for sharing. I'd assume it also depends on friends, such that you only need to get 576 per start, in order to not use more resources than you get back from one start.
