The Neighbours List of Game Accounts - Players Main And Multiple Support Games (v8.31.24)

I have written the user guide for those of you who are relatively new to the game of Airport City and have not been playing for very long. The user guide is intended to give you an insight into your neighbours list. This is something you will need to consider, along with other aspects of your game, in the early stages of game play and future game development.

The following ten topics are covered in the user guide, Your Neighbours List, Your Neighbour Code, Different Types of Neighbours, Accepting A Player As A Neighbour, How To Access Your Neighbours List, Active And Inactive Game Accounts, Multiple Game Accounts, Good Housekeeping, How To Remove A Neighbour, Before You Remove A Neighbour. The topics will provide you with all the information you need about your neighbours list and how to best manage it long term.

YOUR NEIGHBOURS LIST
NEIGHBOURS LIST.png
The number of neighbours you will have in your list will depend on a number of factors, how long you have been playing your game, how many hours per day and how many days per week you play your game, how pro-active you have been in searching for new neighbours, if you prefer to only have forum members as neighbours, or if you do not mind having a mixer of non forum members and forum members as neighbours.

As a rule it is always best to only have forum members as neighbours. It will be far less of a headache to you during long term game play, especially when it comes to the space program, and not having your launch flights hi-jacked. Unfortunately, this is something that many forum members have experienced at some point, and continue to do so, at the hands of non forum members. There is a certain way of behaving, on the members forum, which is understood and followed by all players who are members. The same can not always be said about those who are not forum members.

There are no real advantages to having non forum members as neighbours, but there are many advantages to having forum members as neighbours. You will be able to communicate with members through the forum. You will not be able to communicate with non forum members. You will be able to send and receive gifts from forum members, but not from non forum members. Only forum members will be able to join your Green, Blue and Red space program launch flights, and collectively share in the rewards of completed flights.

YOUR NEIGHBOUR CODE
It is important you keep a tight control over your Neighbour Code, also known as the Support ID, never display the code in your signature page, or anywhere else on the members forum. Only ever provide your neighbour code to a player who has requested to become a neighbour with you, through the Private Message Conversation section of the members forum. This is by far the best way to become a neighbour with a player who will most likely be new to the game. The Neighbour Code, will be made up of a series of numbers and letters. The number of digits will vary, as many as nine, and each set of figures will be unique to each player game account. You will find the code located in the Neighbours Menu (7th icon) and also in the Settings Menu (8th Icon), accessed from the Game Screen Menu., located along the bottom row of your Game Screen.

DIFFERENT TYPES OF NEIGHBOURS
There are different types of neighbours who you will need to have, as part of your neighbours list, they will perform different types of functions, which will be essential to your long term game. It will be important you have a well balanced neighbours list, that you can make good use of. The first type will be neighbours who you will be able to send and receive gifts from on a daily basis. The second type will be neighbours who have a well established space program with associated buildings, Cosmic Fuel Stations, Training Centres, Launch Pads, Mission Control Centres, Planetariums which you will be able to visit and collect resources from Powerful Explosive Bolts, Main Stabilizers, Large Fuel Tanks, Explosive Bolts, Additional Stabilizers, Solid Fuels, Small Fuel Tanks, Liquid Fuels on a daily basis. The third type will be neighbours who have special event buildings in their cities, which you will need to visit, when special events are available, without them you will struggle to complete many of the special events.

ACCEPTING A PLAYER AS A NEIGHBOUR
You will need to be very careful and exercise great care when accepting new neighbours, it is so very easy to find yourself awash with non forum members in the early stages of game play, since you will not be aware of the difference between forum and no forum members. Always make sure that you double check players are forum members before accepting them as new neighbours. You can do this by searching through the members forum, once you have found them, you can then proceed. Please Note - it is always best to have a mixer of neighbours, those who are on or close to your game level, and those who are ahead of your game level. Those on your game level will have the type of gifts you will need to upgrade your main buildings, since they will be upgrading their main buildings as well. Neighbours who are far ahead of you will not be able to send gift items that you will need, all they will be able to gift you is Fuel (3 or 20 Fuel Units) and/or Passengers (5 or 10 Passengers). The passengers will also drop from your Residential Buildings, your neighbour's Residential Buildings and from Guest Flights landing at your airport. These two gift items are available to most players and are stored in the Gifts section of the Warehouse.

HOW TO ACCESS YOUR NEIGHBOURS LIST
To access your neighbours list of game accounts you will first need to select the seventh icon, located along the bottom row of your Game Screen Menu. You will then need to select the bottom icon from the pop-up menu option of four icons.

GAME SCREEN MENU.png

On the left had side of the menu you will find five vertical click button options, 1st Alphabet (used to filter your neighbours list with five options, Alphabet, Favourite, Alliance, Active, Inactive - these five options are part of the drop down menu and will only be on display when you have selected the click button option), 2nd Neighbours List (this will list all the players you are neighbours with) 3rd Add Neighbours (this will allow you to add a neighbour who has not sent a request, this is where you will key in neighbour codes and where you will find your neighbour code), 4th Waiting Neighbours (this will allow you to add a neighbour who has sent a request to become a neighbour) and 5th Your Profile (will display your avatar, will list your game, reputation and star skills levels, will display your Expert, Master, Specialist status figures and will display your neighbour code).

When you become neighbours with a player, having keyed in their code and the request having been excepted, the following example will appear in your neighbours list. You will have one for each player who is a neighbour with you and on your list. It will display the Game Level they are on, will display the players Game Name or Player Name, the players most urgent Gift need, the number of Stars the player has, if they are a member of the same alliance you are part of and if so, a golden wingnut will be displayed, the option to remove a player , the option to send a gift and the option to visit the players game site.

x Neighbours.png

Selecting the 2nd Neighbours List icon will display all the neighbours you are connected with. This will allow you to send and receive gifts, will allow you to join their space program launch flights, will allow them to join your space program launch flights and will allow you to visit their game sites for the collection of game resources. You can currently visit a maximum of 12 neighbours per day, after which you will need to wait until the following day to visit 12 more of your neighbours.

ACTIVE AND INACTIVE GAME ACCOUNTS
Those
If you spend some time and study the neighbours list, as you scroll through the list, you will notice a mixer of Active and Inactive game accounts. For those players who have inactive main and support account games they will have a series of Three Z's, displayed on the left hand side of the avatars. This will indicate either a game account which is temporarily inactive or a game account which is permanently inactive. Unfortunately you will not be able to tell which is which, unless players have indicated this. The table below will provide you with information, with regards to the Active and Inactive status of game accounts and the reasons why this maybe the case.

ACTIVE
active main game accounts (currently being played)
active support accounts (used to send and receive additional gifts)
active support accounts (used by players to support their main game accounts)
active support accounts (used by players for space program launch flights with bonus)
TEMPORARILY INACTIVE
temporarily inactive accounts (due to technical problems with their games)
temporarily inactive accounts (players accounts suspended or blocked, the reason for this will vary)
temporarily inactive accounts (players who are on holiday/vacation and may not have internet access)
temporarily inactive accounts (players who have stop playing for a period of time but intend to return)
PERMANENTLY INACTIVE
permanently inactive game accounts (main and support accounts due to players who no longer play their games)

Please Note - there is currently a cap on the number of players you can have as neighbours, the figure stands at a maximum of 500. This should be more than enough to meet your game play resource needs during long term game play. Some players will have the maximum number of neighbours, while others will not. There will be many reasons why this is so. The main advantage is the amount of gifts you will receive, from your neighbours, long term. The main disadvantage is in remembering who you gifted to and when you sent the gifts. Many players have a system in place to keep track of who they have gifted to and when they sent the gifts.

MULTIPLE GAME ACCOUNTS
There are many forum members who will have at least one support account, some forum members will have two or more, which they use for gifting additional fuel, gifting additional passengers, gifting unique building upgrade items and for space program launch flights with bonus. There will also be a number of forum members who will have as many as five game accounts, all active at the same time, which will be quite an advantage. Having up to five game accounts will involve a considerable challenge, which can be successfully managed, but will not be for all players.

GOOD HOUSEKEEPING
It will be a good idea to keep a close watch on your neighbours list, so that you can avoid a build up of inactive game accounts, as your neighbours list continues to grow. This is of course easier said than done, but can be achieved by being pro-active, and undertaking good housekeeping on a regular basis. As to how often you should undertake the task, is of course up to you.

HOW TO REMOVE A NEIGHBOUR
To remove a neighbour, who is not a forum member, is quite straight forward and can be undertaken through your neighbours list at anytime. You will notice that each of your neighbours will have a small Red and White 'X' in the right hand corner of their avatar. By clicking on the cross you will be prompted to confirm you wish to remove them. Once you have clicked and confirmed, they will be removed from your neighbours list. You will only be able to remove one neighbour at a time, you will therefore need to repeat the process each time.

BEFORE YOU REMOVE A NEIGHBOUR
It is important that you do not rush into removing any of your neighbours and that you give yourself plenty of time to plan and prepare for the process. You will not want to remove a neighbour by accident, since this will not endear you to them, and you may experience problems reconnecting with them. It is also possible that they may decide not to reconnect with you. You do not want to loose your good neighbours, they are an essential part of your game, and you will not get very far without them.

USER GUIDE INFORMATION
There is a great wealth of user guide information located in the Airport City Guides section, of the members forum. I have written them to help you with your game, those of you who are new to the game and those of you who are further along with your game. The user guides will provide you with all the information you need, to help make a success of your game.

Thank you very much. Sorry to bother, but can you please explain how I can obtain certain gifts from neighbors. Thank you.
When you find some time you should create your own signature page, where you could let your neighbours know what your buildings gift needs are long term. Placing your gift need, at the end of your game name, is somewhat limited, to just one or two gift need items. There is a user guide on the subject matter, which will help you with this.
