Android What type of tablet?

It seems the android tablet I use to play Airport City is about to bite the dust. I will be looking to buy a new one but not sure which one to get. I was wondering if I could have some examples of what everyone is using for Android just to get an idea. I'm not really computer savvy so any help would be appreciated....Thank you all!

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab A, 8", currently with Android version 7.1.1. Runs AC great, also play The Tribez on it. Not sure how it would do with heavy usage but it works great for a couple of games and general use without lagging or freezing. Long battery life. Very inexpensive tablet ($169 at Walmart, occasionally on sale for $129)

Is that a 16gb or 8gb? Is it marshmallow or kitkat? Sorry for all the questions....

It's 16gb. It's the SM-T350 model.

The OS is android 7.1.1. It's called Nougat. When I bought the tablet about a year ago, it came with android 5.0 lollipop, and has updated several times.
