Android Usernames not updating?

Is it just me or are usernames not updating at the moment? (sorry if I've been ignorant and this has been mentioned elsewhere). I'm sure they can't be else there would be a host of people (including myself) who would have "santa items" or "lantern" in their username on my neighbors list, and there aren't any.

Here no problems, all names are updated in santa names.

Only the crapple users i still see as username... But that will change maybe within next update moehahahahaaaaaa

Weird, maybe it's only affecting some people (or just me) then e.g. you're still down as AERO Flight Item on my neighbor list

Hmm for sure u have a bug, i changed my name allready a few days

I notice this as well but on my Sophie2 game who isn't on the current version, I just figured it's GI making me suffer because I won't update that game...

The joys of the iPhone version! Everyone's name is just outdated on my list, reckon they're all about a week old.

out of nowhere changed my name and doesn't changes anymore...

I have the same problem on my Android version. Usernames are out of date, and my username I don't think is updating as I'm not being sent any lanterns, and my neighbours are always excellent at sending what is in my username.

Aaaah their engineers are for sure busy repairing this bug, probably in the next update its fixed

I think others can see mine OK, as my neighbours are sending me the things I need, but I am just sending them meals and random flight items in return, as I have no idea what they actually need! Really hope this gets fixed soon, as I don't want to pee off my neighbours by sending them stuff they don't need!

Most of my neighbours are still "username". Even those, that i added them in last week or so.
Few are with their game names, some i can recognized by picture.

I will start to believe, that this is not a bug, but a feature

I think that it is a good idea that you use your forum icon in the game. It helps make you stand out and not just another anonymous 'username'. Most regular forum users recognise your forum picture.

yes, i will do that must_dash. I wrote to GI again ( several times), but always same answer:

"As for your matter about the "username" that still taking place in the game, we understand that the problem is very important for our players and our specialists are working on the issue. It turns out that we have no opportunity to provide you with any more precise information concerning the issue at the moment."

So, let's wait to next update and hope, they will made a mistake and somehow this glitch will dissapeared
