QL launches revert back to 24hrs

Hi all, was on a QL party (brilliant btw) yesterday, only to find that on a launch with 4 QL's in place where launches were taking a couple of seconds to find my timer reset to 24hrs after launch 12. I had updated my game. Have logged ticket, waiting on a response. Anyone else experienced this? Rsorour Puppy Chou did you come unstuck?

After analysing a lot of posts....

I the beginning of QL, QL only worked when a QL was activated. All others get 24 hours. They partially activated this on IOS again. They did this while turning off the speeding up by closing the game.

When the android QL's launch (and land?) before IOS launches, those QL's are not registered.
Android can still pick up neighbors with QL. IOS can not.
For a IOS QL this means he launches with one QL.
For a IOS (not QL) the IOS QL does not count so no QL on board... 24 hours

explains the problem as all other QL's were androud.

solution for now... If launching together, Android QL launches last....

I joined plenty of QL launches yesterday, and did not have any trouble, all lauches were back in few seconds (4QL) or in 1m24s (3QL).

Ok, just happened to me now. Joined to 2QL launch (red rocket) with ios and android. On ios the rocket will be back in 14 minutes, on android 23h59m. Nothing helped: closing the game several times, off and wifi on, nothing... So, android will be back in 24h, despite 2QL users i joined. Looks there is a bug. Will open a ticket by GI...

Hi all, just to add, was on a launch with 4 QL's, visited a Neighbour, on return to home launched and was on 24 hours rather than the couple of seconds. Had had a number of successful launches prior to this and I think I missed the window of launching as the flight had already returned with all the other parties, ie I launched after their return, QL's null and void then. Now

Gt city, I did log a ticket the last time this happened and again I sooo frustrating..

Need to be careful when there is plenty QL's involved...

I think we do need to be bit eagle eyed at launch time, I had a run of over 20 with no probs, went off to do a Neighbour run and .......... Tick tock for 24 hrs

I think this is the first time I read that the QL bug also affects Android users, most of the problem has been with iOS players. I thought Android users are safe.

Do you remember whether the 2 QL initiator were iOS or Android users?

Android user. With both accounts.

After the latest android update .. iOs and android share the same pain.
This will not last until the next update so every QL party will be at risk

Very odd this, I this current launch of mine with 1 QL user ( don't know if he is Android or IOS), launched and now 24 hrs. Only thing I can think of is that I did leave my game to check out forum and visited a Neighbour as launch was going very slowly.

Perhaps one should not leave the game at all during launch, this may be tied to the old bug of closing and re opening the game to shorten the time before the latest update??? Any thoughts on this?

the bug got me today ; joined DarekK on a QL with both games (both are Android). On "Hansle" timer 23 hrs. and change, on "Knut" 2:14; what gives? I did not do anything unusual; ( no visiting neighbours, landed guest planes; I did not even ate my chips ) nothing, just launched

So frustrating!! It happened again to me yesterday with Robby's launches. flip123 explanation above is the best, if you don't launch before the others have landed you are sunk, also with all the multiple QL's, joiners and launches I think the server battles - I find I have to return to my airport and then re open the launch to see where we are, unless I add in fuel continuously during the launch. Hope this makes sense

you might have identified the reason: last night after launching, I closed and restarted my Nexus 7, upon restart the timer showed 2:13. The second game got stuck with the same procedure. Could it be that GI tried to fix the old bug and unsurprisingly created another glitch.
So if you try to shorten the time you might end up with 24 hrs.
