Once again, I’ve only just seen the new challenge

It’s SUCH a headf*** to constantly have to check app updates because there’s no automatic app update inbuilt.

it’s such a basic function for apps.
As a result I have basically zero chance of finishing Age of Ash now.

We are two days in to a 16 day event. I don't see that you should have a problem. This is my first year attempting it and I'm more than half way done.

Bummer. Still a long way to go though. Mine doesn’t seem to update quickly either, but as soon as I see posts that an update is out I go force the update.

There are challenges that are purgatorial, especially when you can only collect hourly.

not sure what level you’re at but I’m 80 and this has pissed me off since day one. It’s no better now.

I've been around a very long time. The not auto-updating isn't anywhere near as aggravating as having every friend in your list showing up as "username" so you had no conceivable way of knowing who was who (especially since the topo level was 35 so practically everybody was at the same level) making it extremely hard to get and give the required building items to complete anything.
